About This Game

Upgrade your ship and crew in a fast-paced bullet-heaven game of survival, shooting and looting. Face the aliens and monsters from Approaching Infinity in a whole new action-packed arena!

GUNS:

There are over 30 weapons for your spaceship and 20 for the away team, from standard beams and slug-throwers to black holes, freezing clouds, and weaponized entropy.

Many are locked away in mercenary strongholds, secret research bases, and Firax temples that you have to infiltrate.

SHIPS:

Fly the assault scout, asteroid miner, explorer, and 15 more classic ships, but do it in real time and try not to crash!

CHARACTERS:

There are more playable character classes than ever, and each one makes a significant impact on gameplay.

LOOT:

• You need all the XP you can get to level up those guns to their ultimate forms.

• Find credits to buy upgrades from vendors and stations.

• Gather data to pay for meta-upgrades between games, or spend it on rare items right now!

• Collect scrap to fix your hull (if you're damaged) or save it for later to craft better items.

LOCATIONS LOCATIONS LOCATIONS:

Explore empty space, populated sectors, asteroid fields and spatial anomalies. Then land on jungle worlds and frozen wastes. Airless moons and shipwrecks. Deep caves and hostile bases. 

ENEMIES:

In space, you'll find some aggressors you already know, like the pirates, Gruff, and Eaters. Your landing party will have to deal with the standard gnashers, bats, and cyclopeans, as well as squither larva, sponges, and zombies. You'll also see some new beasties...

But this time they're not waiting for you to "take your turn". They're coming for you RIGHT NOW. Keep shooting!

The Bankers are defeated, the Firax transcended, and the Unifiers have gone (back) to sleep. The resulting power vacuum has given everyone delusions of grandeur.

Hi, I'm IBOL and I started Approaching Infinity in 2013. It has expanded over the decade+ of development to a rich massive universe and an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam. 

I never thought I'd make another game after 13 years. But I spent 2 months playing lots of bullet heavens I realized I could take my beloved galaxy and translate it into an arcade experience for you!
