Alt-Fire is a fast paced arena style shooter inspired by FPS classics like Unreal and Half-Life.

Take on soldiers, mercenaries and monsters alike as you fight across an eclectic sci-fi universe in single and multiplayer modes. Master a powerful arsenal of weapons, each with multiple different attack combos for different situations. Nimbly flow through beautiful stylized environments with fluid movement mechanics.

The galaxy is a dangerous place, and to survive you will have to master an arsenal of powerful weapons and their abilities. Each weapon has many different attacks, composed by combos of the primary and secondary fire buttons.

From an assault rifle that fires bullets, airburst rounds, and explosive grenades, and a pistol that is part sidearm, part shield, part jump pad, to a lightning rifle that shoots high damage bolts of electricity causing lightning damage over time, creating a contained electric field to deny whole areas, and a melee spear that launches you in and out of range hacking your foes to pieces.

All weapons have different combos to learn and master, but remain easy to access using only your two attack buttons.

CAMPAIGN

Join the unlikely crew of the Mercury, as they fight their way through mercenaries, militaries, and monsters, to reveal the dangerous truth teetering a volatile galaxy on the edge of war, in a handcrafted full length single-player story campaign.

GAUNTLET

Face down the ever shifting rogue-like arenas of the gauntlet, pitting you against diverse encounters with enemies, changing objectives, and challenge rooms. Augment the experience with mutators to increase your score, and clear your previous run times, either solo or coop.

ARENA

Team up and lock in for team based classic arena shooter multiplayer. Choose your mode with twists on classics like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, and choose your arena from a large pool of arenas with unique map features, hazards, and modifiers to the combat. Host your own games with mutator support to change movement, vitality, weapons and more!

Alt-Fire is currently in pre-alpha development, and contains lots of placeholder content subject to change before release. Follow the project on social media or check the developer updates to see how the game evolves as its built!

Alt-Fire features the use of guns and weapons against other beings, causing blood (real and fictitious), and unrealistic gore and dismemberment. Characters use course language in dialogue across all modes, and may make references to substances. Some characters may be considered suggestive visually. The world contains major references to war, mercenary acts, and killing. As well as minor references to class divides, addiction, limb loss, and substance use.
