About This Game

In Black Well Devil you control Luxor, the former ruler of Hell, who, with the help of Horace the giant Hand tries to escape the Black Well by any means necessary.

Flick Luxor into the air, to reach higher and higher points! But watch out - If you miss your jump and fall down, you'll need to climb up again!

After ascending through countless rooms and dodging perilous traps you'll also meet certain denizens, who try to do everything in their power to stop your quest. You'll have to defeat them the only way you can: by jumping on their head! If they have a head...

• A Vertical World - Ascend to the top of the fully vertical and interconnected Black Well, but be careful! Any mistake could lead to a long fall backwards

• Difficult to Master - Learn unique controls, flick yourself to the top using (mostly) just your mouse or a controller's analog stick

• ALL Unique Challenges - Every single room is hand-drawn from scratch, all filled with unique challenges to overcome

• Charming Art Style - Colorful and unusual creatures and environments, inspired by a mix of Art Deco, vintage comic books and hellish landscapes

• A Multitude of Foes - Unique Bosses who ramp up in difficulty the higher you reach!

• Pogo Based Combat - Swiftly maneuver yourself in the air to repeatedly deal damage, dodge attacks and bounce off of your enemies

• Secrets and Backdoors - The way up is not the only way. Who knows what else is the Black Well hiding?

• Helping out Each Other - Accept challenges and quests from NPCs for unique rewards!

It's not easy being overthrown and locked into prison for hundreds of years. One might understandably develop trust issues. And rightly so - some of the strange denizens of the Black Well will try their damnedest to stop you, but you might also encounter a helping hand or two. Does Kacperl the madman, Toto the songstress or the Sin Collector really want to help you? Why is the one-eyed Constable always following you around? Who are the Bilesingers?

While trying (and failing) to ascend to the top, you'll have the opportunity to uncover increasingly darker secrets and the true nature of the Black Well.
