What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“DOMFC is one of the most ambitious football management simulations we have attempted. The scale, 890+ territories and over 2,000,000 players and staff, with a competition pyramid still filling out, means this is a game built over years, not months. Early Access lets us ship a deep, playable core now and build the rest of the pyramid with our community watching and contributing. We want the people who care most about this genre to help shape what DOMFC becomes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Early Access to last approximately 18 to 24 months. This gives us time to expand the competition pyramid into the lower tiers, widen territory coverage, deepen the life events and legal drama systems, and grow the women's and youth football structures. We plan to leave Early Access when the game reaches the full scope described on this page.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the competition structure from around 6,500 competitions today toward 15,000+, by adding reserve leagues, youth leagues, lower-division cups, and more continental tournaments across all territories. We plan to deepen the life events, legal drama, discrimination and social-change, and political-interference systems that are already in the game, and to broaden the Universal Person System. We also plan to build the free Intrasolar expansion covering Luna, Mars, and outer solar system territories, accessible through the Solar Era 2150 and Outer Worlds 2300 scenario modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core management loop is complete and playable across multiple seasons. It includes match simulation, league tables with promotion and relegation, cup competitions, transfers, contracts, wages, training, youth academies, board objectives, finances, press conferences, and team talks. The full league pyramid ships for 890+ territories, from England's eleven tiers down to semi-professional divisions, for both men's and women's football. The mental health system, gambling, crime events, match fixing, discrimination, fan violence, and political interference are implemented and adjustable through content-intensity presets. The game is stable and tested, builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is designed for Steam Deck.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we ship major content updates during Early Access. The launch Early Access price reflects the current scope of the game. Players who join early get the best price and every future update included. We are not planning a price reduction at full release; the price at that point will reflect the complete game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use the Steam discussion boards and a dedicated community hub as the primary channels for feedback. We plan to run regular community votes on feature priority, share development updates with specific questions for players to answer, and track bugs and balance issues through player reports. Decisions about which territories to build out next, which competition structures to prioritise, and how to balance the economy will be informed by community input. We want players who understand football management deeply; this community knows what a proper sim should feel like, and we intend to listen to them.”

About This Game

RUN FOOTBALL YOUR WAY

Football management usually puts you in the dugout.

DOMFC lets you decide where the power sits.

Become a First Team Manager, Club Director, Club Owner, or Federation Executive. Each career gives you control over a different part of football inside the same living world.

Manage the team.
Build the football operation.
Own the club.
Govern the game.

FREE TO PLAY. PAY TO KEEP.

FOUR CAREERS. ONE FOOTBALL WORLD.

FIRST TEAM MANAGER

Take charge on the pitch.

  • Pick the squad

  • Set tactics

  • Run training

  • Develop players

  • Build your staff

  • Manage the dressing room

  • Face the press

  • Win matches

  • Keep your job

You manage the team, but you do not control the club.

The director controls recruitment. The owner controls the money. The board has its own expectations.

Work with what they give you.

CLUB DIRECTOR

Build the sporting operation.

  • Hire and fire managers

  • Sign players

  • Negotiate transfers and contracts

  • Build scouting networks

  • Develop the academy

  • Recruit football staff

  • Set sporting budgets

  • Plan beyond the next match

Your manager decides how the team plays.

You decide what kind of team they have to work with.

CLUB OWNER

The club is yours.

  • Control investment

  • Hire senior leadership

  • Set financial priorities

  • Approve major spending

  • Develop facilities

  • Manage sponsorship

  • Shape the club's long-term direction

  • Deal with supporters, reputation, and financial pressure

Build a dynasty.

Chase trophies at any cost.

Run the club into the ground.

Or build something that survives you.

The money is yours. So are the consequences.

FEDERATION EXECUTIVE

Run football at the national level.

  • Oversee international football

  • Appoint leadership

  • Manage federation finances

  • Shape development priorities

  • Deal with clubs and leagues

  • Handle disputes

  • Respond to scandals and crises

  • Navigate governments and political pressure

  • Balance sporting success with institutional stability

You are not simply picking a national team.

You are running the organization behind it.

POWER HAS LIMITS

You do not control everything.

A manager can ask for a player the director refuses to sign.

A director can build a long-term plan the owner destroys.

An owner can control a club while still answering to the rules of the wider game.

A Federation Executive can set national priorities while clubs, leagues, officials, supporters, and governments push back.

DOMFC is built around that conflict.

Your job determines what you control, what you influence, and what you have to live with.

A FOOTBALL WORLD THAT KEEPS MOVING

Your career takes place inside a persistent football world containing:

  • 890+ territories

  • 60,000+ clubs

  • 2,000,000+ players and staff

  • 6,500+ competitions

  • Men's football

  • Women's football

  • International football

  • Reserve football

  • Youth football

  • Domestic competitions

  • Continental competitions

Load the football world you want and watch it develop season after season.

PEOPLE HAVE CAREERS TOO

Players and staff are not just names waiting for you to use them.

Young players become veterans.

Former players become coaches.

Coaches become managers.

Managers become executives.

People build careers, reputations, histories, and relationships with clubs.

Clubs rise and fall around them.

Play long enough and your save develops its own football history.

BUILD MORE THAN A STARTING XI

Depending on your career, you can work with:

  • Transfers and loans

  • Contracts and wages

  • Scouting and recruitment

  • Tactics and training

  • Youth development

  • Staff recruitment

  • Club finances

  • Sponsorship

  • Facilities

  • Board objectives

  • Press conferences

  • Dressing-room management

  • Reserve teams

  • Youth teams

  • Men's football

  • Women's football

You may control a system directly.

You may only influence it.

Someone above you may simply tell you no.

FOOTBALL DOES NOT EXIST IN A VACUUM

Optional simulation systems can bring events beyond the pitch into long careers, including:

  • Mental health

  • Gambling

  • Crime

  • Match fixing

  • Corruption

  • Fan violence

  • Discrimination

  • Political interference

  • Personal and family events

  • Serious injuries

  • Institutional crises

These systems are designed to create consequences for people, clubs, and institutions over time.

Content categories can be adjusted or disabled in the settings.
