Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“D&B is built around its community. The combat, the robot part economy and the online multiplayer are all systems that only get properly tested when a lot of different people play them at once. Releasing in Early Access lets the player base grow while we keep shaping the game with direct feedback from the people actually playing it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for around a year. That timeline may change depending on how the game evolves and what the community asks for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the roster of robot parts and attacks, add depth to the type-based combat with more matchups and effects, add more minigames alongside the ones already in the game, and grow the progression and economy systems. We also plan to keep improving multiplayer stability, balance and overall polish based on what we learn during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable from start to finish. Turn-based combat with three damage types and its attack roster is in place, the robot part system works, online multiplayer through Steam is functional, and the charge regulator minigame is playable. Expect rough edges: balance is still being tuned, parts of the interface are unpolished, and you may run into bugs, particularly in online matches.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is free to play, and we do not plan to change that when Early Access ends.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read the Steam discussions and the community hub, and we plan to use player feedback to guide balance changes and decide what gets built next. We also plan to post regular development updates so players can see what is being worked on and weigh in before changes land.”

About This Game

Build Your Ultimate Mech!

Design, upgrade, and customize your arsenal using a wide variety of parts and components. Combine stats, take advantage of different types, and destroy enemy defenses in intense tactical battles where every decision can make the difference.

Earn resources continuously while playing, unlock new parts, and create increasingly powerful builds. Experiment with different strategies, adapt your construction, and discover the perfect combination to dominate the battlefield.

Economy, Crafting & Rewards

Earn screws continuously while waiting or playing, and accelerate your progress by actively participating in battles.

Common Screws

• 1 drop every 6 minutes.
• Collect 30 to craft 1 Normal Part.

Special Screws

• 1 drop every 11 minutes.
• Collect 100 to craft 1 Special Part.

Active Gameplay

• Complete matches to earn additional parts directly and significantly reduce farming time.

Part Fusion

• Combine 10 Normal Parts for a chance to obtain a Special Part.

Surprise Drop

• There is a small chance to receive a Rare Part directly from normal drops.

Part Rarities

Rarities are primarily cosmetic and collectible. They do not directly modify part statistics or provide automatic combat advantages.

A Normal part can be just as effective as a Legendary one depending on your strategy, type combinations, and stat distribution.

Normal Drop Rates

• Normal: 95%
• Common: 5%

Special Drop Rates

• Common: 70%
• Uncommon: 25%
• Rare: 25%
• Epic: 4.89%
• Legendary: 0.10%

Stats

Each part can provide different combinations of attributes:

• Damage: Amount of health reduced when an attack successfully lands.
• Defense: Must be overcome before enemy damage can be applied.
• Health: Total durability before destruction.
• Agility: Increases offensive effectiveness and attack capability.

Type System

Each part belongs to a specific material or technology category. Some types have advantages over others, creating a strategic system of strengths and weaknesses.

Available at launch:

• Piercing / Hydraulic
• Cutting / Steel Mechanical
• Blunt / Carbon Fiber

We plan to add more types as Early Access progresses:

• Fire / Cast Iron
• Corrosion / Polycarbonate
• Electric / Copper
• Plasma / Titanium

Type matchups can result in:

• 2x Damage (Advantage)
• 1x Damage (Neutral)
• 0.5x Damage (Disadvantage)

Building a powerful machine is not only about obtaining better stats, but also about exploiting type advantages against your opponents.

Features

• Tactical combat based on component customization.
• Type system with strengths and weaknesses.
• Thousands of possible part combinations.
• Active and passive progression systems.
• Economy based on screws, crafting, and rewards.
• Steam Community Market support for assembled parts.

A Game That Grows With You

Dice and Bot is launching in Early Access. The core game is here and playable, but this is a starting point, not a finish line. Parts, attacks, balance and modes are all still being shaped, and the people playing are the ones who will shape them.

We plan to keep adding content and tuning the game around what actually happens in real matches. Tell us what breaks, what feels unfair, and what you want to see next. Join now and you are not just playing Dice and Bot, you are helping build it.
