About This Game

Golf-Like

A golf roguelike where the ball never stops. A giant club drives you from the sky onto the tee, and from there the run is yours: a road over the open sea, a wave swallowing it behind you, spiked escorts hunting you from both sides, and a black hole waiting at the end.

Every run builds a new road, deals you a new hand and asks you new questions. Which way at the crossroads? Which portal? Which card goes in the bag? Get it right and the road opens up. Get it wrong and the sea is right behind you.

Tee off, then take control

  • Steer in the air: once the ball is moving it is yours. Push it, jump and burn boost to stay ahead of the wave.

  • Ground Slam: drop out of the air like a hammer. It is how you break things, and how you cut a monster down to size.

  • Fight back: lock on and send homing spikes after the escorts. Every one you knock out of the sky pays out in coins.

  • Parry: raise your shield at the right moment and time slows down. Catch a spike perfectly and it flies straight back at whoever threw it.

No two roads alike

  • Crossroads: the road splits into a real left or right turn. Flags show what waits at the end and how dangerous the way is. There is no going back.

  • Route portals: two gates in a mountain pass. Roll through one and the world changes around you, or dive into a pocket: a sports arena, a city drive, a flight above the clouds or a cave.

  • Sports arenas: basketball, bowling, billiards and hockey, played with your golf ball. Every point pays gold.

  • Hidden caves: skip a corner by rolling straight into the mountain. Deep inside, a witch trades cards at her cauldron.

  • Living world: deserts, snowfields, autumn forests, evening and night skies, storms, whales and boats at sea. Sometimes a hawk grabs your ball, a flock of sheep runs across the road or a shark lunges from the water.

Build your run

  • Chests and cards: open chests along the road and pick from cards in five rarities. Bigger ball or smaller ball, magnets, shields, self-throwing spikes, healing, gold and stranger things.

  • Combos: the right pair of cards merges into a single, stronger combo card.

  • Level up: every escort you take down fills your experience bar, and every level brings another reward.

  • The witch's cauldron: throw in three cards and see what comes out.

The guardians

Somewhere along the road the sea turns to lava and the Kraken blocks the way. Read the warnings on the ground, dodge its arms, slam them off and bring it down. Beat it and choose one of three active skills for the rest of the run. More guardians are on the way.

Between runs

  • Permanent upgrades: spend your coins on speed, jump, boost, health and more, with the Caddie keeping you company.

  • Card museum: every card you discover takes its place in your collection.

  • Leaderboards: reach the end and your time goes on the board.

Modes

  • Run: the main roguelike mode, with a fresh map seed every time.

  • Tutorial: a short, calm lesson in parrying and shooting.

  • Maze: a new labyrinth every time, one attempt.

  • Sandbox: endless flat ground with every card at your fingertips.

Options and accessibility

  • 15 interface languages.

  • Colourblind modes: protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, achromatopsia and black and white.

  • Full controller support, rebindable keyboard and gamepad controls, adjustable mouse sensitivity and field of view, and a HUD you can hide completely.

  • Render scale, FSR upscaling, V-Sync, an FPS cap and a lighter quality option for older machines.

  • Photo mode: time stops, the interface disappears and the camera flies free.

  • Steam achievements and leaderboards. Windows, macOS and Linux.
