About This Game

Welcome to the Land of Illusions! Touhou: Beyond Gensokyo is a visual novel that invites you to experience the fascinating universe of the Touhou Project from a completely new and mystery-filled perspective.

Take on the role of Shin, a passionate photographer from the Outside World who ends up crossing the barrier into Gensokyo. Armed only with his camera and his wits, Shin must survive in a world where magic and youkai are an everyday reality, all while a new incident threatens to shatter the peace.

At the center of this chaos is Kurohana, an enigmatic figure whose true intentions remain hidden in the shadows. To uncover the truth and stop her, your only initial option will be to forge an alliance with the Hakurei Shrine maiden herself, Reimu. Every decision you make and every photograph you take could change your destiny.
