What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are choosing Early Access because we want 'Heave-Ho: Uphill' to be shaped by community feedback. While the core physics and mechanics are well-established, we believe that working directly with our players is the best way to perfect the level design, difficulty curve, and overall gameplay experience. Player insights will play a critical role in the game's final polish.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately [6 to 12 months]. However, this timeline may adjust based on the feedback we receive from the community and the development of planned new features. Our ultimate goal is to transition to a full release only when the game feels complete and meets our quality standards.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to offer a much more expansive experience in the full version. We aim to include new [environments/levels], additional game modes, and more diverse obstacles/challenges. Furthermore, guided by community feedback gathered during Early Access, we intend to implement performance optimizations, bug fixes, and general polish to elevate the overall quality of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core mechanics of the game are fully playable and functional right now. Currently, the Early Access version features both single-player and multiplayer (co-op) modes. Players can test their skills on a fully completable, highly challenging map. Additionally, we have an active leaderboard system in place, offering a competitive environment for players who want to compete for the top spots. Since it is still in active development, players might encounter occasional minor bugs or unpolished elements as we continue to improve the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game is currently priced lower to thank the players who support us during the Early Access phase. We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content, features, and approach the full 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be in constant communication with our community. We have an active Steam Community Hub where players can share their feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. We plan to post regular development updates and actively listen to our players' ideas to help guide the direction of future content and improvements.”

About This Game

Heave-Ho: Uphill Has Never Been This Infuriating (and Hilarious)!

Gather your squad, grab the ride, and start pushing! Your goal is simple: reach the peak. But beware—unforgiving physics, brutal obstacles, and one tiny mistake from a teammate can send hours of hard work crashing down to the bottom.

Teamwork or Utter Chaos

This isn't just a casual stroll; it's the ultimate test of patience and communication. As you navigate narrow cliffs, wobbly platforms, and absurd traps, there’s only one rule: Move together or fall together! If one of you jumps at the wrong time or pushes the vehicle in the wrong direction, you’re all going back to square one. Get ready to put your friendships to the test.

Key Features:

  • Physics-Based Agony: Every bump, ramp, and platform reacts entirely to physics. Pushing the vehicle is easy; keeping it under control is practically impossible!

  • 1-4 Player Online Co-Op: Try to summit solo and become a legend, or bring up to 3 friends to multiply the chaos by four.

  • Fall Freely, No Giving Up: There are no checkpoints here. When you fall, you have to get back up and keep pushing. It's just you, your crew, and the peak.

  • Addictive Difficulty: That familiar, punishing platformer experience that will have you screaming "just one more try" until the sun comes up. The ultimate mix of rage and satisfaction.

What awaits you at the top? There's only one way to find out. Start pushing!
