Build exactly who you want with hundreds of body morphs, an accessory editor, a skin modifier, full color customization, and a clothing designer that lets you edit materials on individual sections of each outfit. Drive it all with our state-of-the-art facial rig and animation system that translates your character's personality and attributes into expressive, lifelike behavior. Browse the evolving Steam storefront for new cosmetics; buy, sell, and trade on the Steam marketplace.

AI That Runs on Your Hardware

Everything runs offline and locally. We use advanced real-time text-to-speech models alongside lightweight, optimized alternatives so the AI companion is within reach for as many PC setups as possible that meet the minimum VRAM requirements. No cloud. No latency. No compromises on privacy.

Long Term Support

Active development continues post-launch. Post-launch updates will include multiplayer with lobby minigames, pets with their own customization, and regular new cosmetics. Join our Discord to stay up to date, and help drive future development with our evolving roadmap.

Privacy

Your conversation data stays on your machine. Confide runs entirely offline; no accounts, no telemetry, no internet required. The only exception is the Creation Hub, where you can browse and share community creations, or cosmetics purchase verifications.

All assets in this project are handcrafted, the only usage of generative AI is locally run LLM (Large Language Models), TTS (Text To Speech), and STT (Speech To Text) systems used for the optional feature of live conversation with the user created character.
