FlashBoss - French Core: 1,000 words, A1–A2 foundation

Fibonacci spaced repetition and boss fights.

French Core is built from subtitle-corpus frequency data — the French you actually hear in film, television, and conversation, weighted toward what matters most for comprehension. The variety is Metropolitan French throughout.

1,000 words across five tiers, arranged in themed clusters. Every card carries a French example sentence, with full text-to-speech on the target word and sentence, and every noun shows its gender article color-coded — blue for le, magenta for la. Grammar is introduced tier by tier, and example sentences stay inside what you've been taught. By the time you've finished Core, you've read more than 7,000 words of French in context, with the vocabulary and grammar to follow an A2 classroom.
