About This Game

Topple the Tyrant King in this turn-based tactical roguelike. Build an army to triumph in fast-paced battles. Deploy your troops, plan your attack, and watch as the action plays out simultaneously. Arrange your forces to take advantage of special powers unlocked by formations, and pierce the enemy defenses to strike down their commander! But watch out - don't leave your own leader exposed or your rebellion will be short lived!

Battles play out simultaneously in a series of rounds, with careful positioning and planning the key to victory. But battle is also chaotic, and you never quite know which of your reinforcements will show up next. Stay on your toes and adapt to the ever-shifting battlefield.

All sorts of units will look to join your cause, from the humble Rebel armed only with his pitchfork to wizards-in-training ready to hurl fireballs in the name of freedom all the way to knights in shining armor mounted on their fearsome War Caterpillars. Learn your units abilities and build an army to carry out your favorite strategies!

The Stone of Destiny has spoken, and a new hero has arisen to free the land from the clutches of the Tyrant King. 

Jairm might be the son of simple aubergine farmers, but now he's got a new destiny ahead of him. 

Eager as he is, Jairm might not be quite ready for the role of Hero. But the Stone of Destiny is never wrong, and it's going to make sure it stays that way.

Guide Jairm as he tries again and again (and again), gaining valuable experience and skills along the way. Choose your own way on the Path of Destiny to guide what kind of leader Jairm becomes, and grow your forces to fit your strategic style. 

The kingdom changes every time Jairm marches onward, giving you a chance to choose which path you forge ahead on. Will you try to avoid battle and count on your luck and skill to face the challenges ahead, or will you meet the enemy head on to gather experience and glory?

Visit villages under the Tyrant King's cruel thumb, gathering volunteers eager to join the fight, or hiring mercenaries who are happy to join for some coin. And if you can keep your troops alive, they'll gain valuable experience to allow them to upgrade to new types with even more powerful abilities.

Tactical Puzzle Battles: Battles take place on a split battlefield, player and enemy forces facing off. Each round is turn-based, with both sides acting simultaneously when the player is ready. Shift your units to take advantage of their abilities, as well as exploit weaknesses in the enemy lines. But make sure to cover your leader - the enemy will always be looking to take him down and end your little rebellion.

Trinkets: Along the way, Jairm will discover powerful Trinkets granting him new and unique bonuses. From being able to call in more reinforcements to unlocking special battlefield powers, Trinkets can greatly sway the tide of battle!

Build Your Army: As Jairm's glory grows, he'll attract more and more types of units to his cause. Some are eager to volunteer, others might arrive as mercenaries willing to fight for a few coins. Either way, shape your army the way you want to fit your strategy. Whether it's a wall of stout-shielded fighters guarding your front, or speedy cavalry breaking through enemy lines, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Survive and Thrive: Keep your troops alive and they'll gain experience allowing them to upgrade. With multiple promotion paths before them, you can further shape your strategy with an army of stalwart veterans!

Path of Destiny: As Jairm gains experience as a leader, choose how he grows. Perhaps he wants to overwhelm his enemies with numbers, or toughen himself to withstand more punishment, or focus on keeping his troops alive and kicking for longer.
