What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Sushi Day is a cozy management and cooking simulation game that continues to grow with new systems, recipes, and features. Early Access allows us to involve the community directly in shaping the future of the game.

We want player feedback to help us balance progression, improve mini-games, refine the VIP customer system, and expand content such as new food categories (including pasta dishes and boba tea), shop decorations, and additional animal customers.

Our goal is to build Sushi Day together with the community and evolve it into a polished and content-rich cozy restaurant experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Sushi Day to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months.
This timeframe may adjust depending on community feedback and feature development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include:

Expanded food categories (additional sushi variations, pasta dishes, boba tea, and more)

Shop decoration and customization systems

More animal customer types

Expanded VIP and star-based progression systems

Additional mini-games and gameplay refinements

Improved balancing and quality-of-life improvements

We aim to significantly expand the content and depth of the management systems before full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently includes:

Core sushi and food preparation systems

Day-cycle management loop

Star-based progression

VIP animal customer system with bonus tips

Multiple animal customers (cats, birds, rabbits, foxes, turtles)

Mini-games for food preparation

Production and inventory management systems

The game is fully playable, but content and systems will continue expanding.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to keep the price the same during Early Access and after the full release.

Our goal is to expand the game’s content and features while maintaining a fair and accessible price for players.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively gather feedback through Steam discussions, community posts, and player reviews. Balance updates, new features, and content priorities will be influenced by community feedback.

Our goal is to build Sushi Day together with the players.”

About This Game

One more order before closing?
The rice is running low, another customer just walked in, and the fish you need might be waiting somewhere beyond the restaurant.

Welcome to Sushi Day — a cozy sushi shop management game about cooking, serving, planning ahead, and becoming part of a small world filled with familiar faces.

Run your own little sushi restaurant in a warm Japanese-inspired neighborhood where humans and animals live side by side. Prepare food, manage your ingredients, handle busy service hours, meet new characters and slowly turn your tiny shop into a place everyone knows.

🍣 RUN YOUR OWN SUSHI SHOP

Every day starts with preparation.

Stock your ingredients, prepare what you need and get the restaurant ready before customers begin arriving.

Once service starts, you'll need to balance speed, accuracy and your remaining supplies while keeping customers happy.

A simple order can quickly become stressful when several customers arrive at once and the ingredient you need is almost gone.

🔪 PREPARE YOUR INGREDIENTS

Food doesn't simply appear on the plate.

Prepare ingredients before serving, handle different parts of the cooking process and assemble orders using the ingredients available in your restaurant.

From rice and fish to eggs, sauces and wasabi, keeping the kitchen prepared is an important part of surviving a busy day.

🎣 GO FISHING

Not everything has to come from the market.

Leave the restaurant and go fishing to bring fresh ingredients back to your kitchen.

Fishing gives you another way to prepare for future service days and makes the world outside your restaurant part of the restaurant itself.

🛒 MANAGE YOUR SUPPLIES

Running a restaurant isn't only about cooking.

Keep track of your ingredients, decide what to buy and prepare for the next day without wasting the money you've earned.

If something goes wrong during service, emergency supplies can save the day — but convenience comes at a price.

Every purchase matters when you're trying to keep a small restaurant running.

👥 MEET A WORLD OF REGULARS

Sushi Day takes place in a world where people and animals share the same streets, shops and everyday routines.

Your restaurant will attract different personalities, familiar customers and unusual visitors.

Over time, the restaurant becomes more than a place where orders appear.

It becomes a small neighborhood spot filled with faces you begin to recognize.

⏱ SURVIVE THE DINNER RUSH

Customers won't wait forever.

Read their orders, prepare the correct dishes and serve them before their patience runs out.

Some days will be calm.

Others will test how well you prepared before opening the doors.

💰 BUILD A BETTER RESTAURANT, ONE DAY AT A TIME

Finish the day, count what you've earned and decide how to prepare for tomorrow.

Your progress happens gradually through the choices you make each day:

• Managing your money
• Restocking ingredients
• Preparing supplies
• Improving your daily routine
• Meeting more customers
• Expanding what you can do inside and outside the restaurant

There is always another morning waiting.

📱 KEEP EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL

Use your restaurant tablet to access important management systems, supplies and settings without leaving the world of the game.

The goal is to make managing Sushi Day feel like part of running the restaurant rather than navigating through disconnected menus.

🌸 A SMALL WORLD TO SPEND TIME IN

Sushi Day isn't only about completing orders as fast as possible.

It's about the rhythm between preparing for the morning, surviving a busy service, managing what you earned and returning the next day a little more prepared than before.

Cook.

Serve.

Fish.

Meet familiar faces.

And slowly make this little sushi shop your own.

Welcome to Sushi Day. 🍣
