Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because Narayana VR is an ambitious spiritual journey that relies heavily on atmosphere, immense cosmic scale, and player immersion. As an indie developer, releasing in Early Access allows me to share the foundational cosmic experience now, while gathering crucial player feedback on VR comfort, pacing, and visual storytelling. This community input will be vital as we expand the universe from the initial 4 worlds to our much larger final vision.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate the game will remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. This timeline allows us to steadily design, build, and polish the remaining worlds, add new interactive elements, and properly incorporate community feedback to reach our ultimate vision for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Narayana VR is planned to be a vastly expanded epic. While the current version features the first 4 core worlds, our goal for the full release is to include a total of 14 distinct cosmic environments. We plan to introduce dynamic PvE interactions (such as mythological encounters), deeper narrative events, specific world goals, enriched spatial music, and overall graphical enhancements. We also aim to expand our localization to share this cultural experience with a wider global audience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version offers a fully playable, polished, and deeply immersive foundation. It features 4 completed environments: the introductory Start World, Ksheerasagaram (The Milky Ocean), the realm of Creation & Dissolution, and the final Life Towards Narayana sequence. Players can physically navigate the Milky Ocean, enter cosmic eggs (Andas) to view hidden universes, witness the emergence of Lord Brahma, and experience the visual cycle of cosmic creation and dissolution. Core VR movement and guided narration are fully implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game is currently available at a lower price to reflect its Early Access status. We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship major content updates, add new worlds, and implement more complex features leading up to the full 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As an indie developer, community feedback is everything to me. I plan to actively engage with players through the Steam Community Hub and our official Discord. I am looking for constructive feedback on VR comfort, narrative clarity, and interactive features. Because this project is deeply rooted in Hindu cosmology and the Sri Vaishnava tradition, I also welcome discussions and insights from the community to ensure the experience remains culturally respectful, educational, and universally awe-inspiring.”
