About This Game

Story

Proto Zero is a 3d action game set in the far future inhabited by hostile enemies known as AUTOs in an automated megastructure. Our protagonist wakes up from a cyber contrainer, keeping him alive and sustained for who knows how long. The only thing left to his name is the name written on his container: YUUTO. Play As YUUTO and fight your way through hordes of relentless AUTOs and escape the megastructure to find out the origins of this world.

Gameplay

  • Dynamic Difficulty - the better you are at the game, the harder the game will be. Being in higher severity will give you better rewards off power moves!

  • Power Moves - Power up, speed through, heal or pollute the environment with Proton with your power moves!

  • Free Form Ligament system - Chain together any limbs together and/or hold each limb for stronger attacks!

  • 8-way walk - Master the flexible 8-way walk system for more precise movement against enemy attacks for better whiff punishes and positioning!

  • Combat Prowess - Gain prowess by doing certain actions in the game to boost your performance, along with boosts to your energy!

Features

  • Culling Time - Timed Survival against enemy hordes in the CYBUNKER. Take out as many as you can and survive before the time hits 0!

  • Liquidation Station - Survival with No time limit. Get the best time and defeat the designated amount of enemies in style!

  • One Chance Clear - Permadeath off the main story mode. Dying here will reset the game from the beginning. 

  • Flat Futurism - A mix of a flat, cel-shaded graphical aesthetic blended in with complex mechanical geometry,
