What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives us the opportunity to build a community around the game while we continue developing it alongside the people who are actually playing it. We want to hear what players enjoy, what they find frustrating, what they would like to see improved, and what features they feel would make the experience more rewarding.

For us, Early Access is not just about releasing the game early. It is about creating an ongoing conversation with the community and using genuine player feedback to guide development. The goal is to keep improving the game based on how people are actually playing it and, ultimately, deliver the best possible boxing promoter experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“2027. Our commitment is make sure we stay closely engaged with the community throughout development. We want to actively gather and incorporate player feedback to help shape the game, building the best possible v1 experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access will launch with the core promoter loop fully playable: scouting and signing fighters, contract negotiation, matchmaking, event booking, and the Fight Night presentation, including Tale of the Tape, text commentary and live scorecards. Basic modding support will also be available from Early Access, letting players bring in custom fighters, promotions, and branding.

Over the course of Early Access, we plan to expand on this foundation based on player feedback. Areas we expect to grow include:

Deeper long-term career and dynasty systems, including fighter aging, decline, and multi-generational rosters
Expanded broadcaster, sponsorship, and sanctioning body mechanics
Additional modding tools and support for more complex custom content
A deeper pool of fighters, promotions, and world content
Refinements to the Fight Night presentation and UI based on community feedback”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch, the core promoter loop is fully playable: scouting and signing fighters, contract negotiation, matchmaking, event booking, and running full Fight Night presentations with Tale of the Tape, weigh-ins, and live scorecards. Basic modding support is included, allowing custom fighters, promotions, and branding.

As an Early Access title, some systems are still being expanded. Fighter career depth, broadcaster and sponsorship complexity, and the overall roster of fighters and promotions are lighter than what we're planning for 1.0. You may encounter balance issues, incomplete UI polish in some screens, and features still being iterated on based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. There will be a small price increase once the full game is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“100%. The community will be a huge part of this. We really want to build this alongside you, taking on feedback as we go so we can shape something fun, authentic, and actually worth sticking with long term. What you share with us will genuinely make a difference, so join the the discussion on Discord! Looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks.”

About This Game

PROMOTER: The Fight Game is a deep sports management simulation where you build a boxing promotional company from nothing into a global powerhouse. Scout raw talent from the amateurs and free-agent pools. Sign them. Promote them. Match them carefully, too soon, and you wreck a career, too late and a rival promoter swoops in. Book the venues. Sell the narrative. Fill the arena. Watch the money come in or not.

BUILD YOUR PROMOTION

Business comes first, loyalty after

Start in local venues with unknown fighters and limited cash. Grow your company into a worldwide powerhouse capable of selling out arenas and dominating the boxing industry.

  • Sign fighters, managers, trainers, and staff

  • Discover amateur talent before rival promoters do

  • Develop regional, national, and global promotions

  • Build relationships with broadcasters and sponsors

  • Manage finances, debt, and operational costs

EMERGENT STORYTELLING

No scripted campaign. No predetermined narratives.

Every save in PROMOTER: The Fight Game generates unique stories shaped by your decisions, fighter personalities, business politics, and the unpredictable nature of combat sports.

  • A hyped prospect can collapse under pressure.

  • A journeyman can shock the world.

  • A bitter rivalry can define an entire era.

  • A controversial decision can spark outrage across the sport.

  • Champions rise. Rival promoters wage cold wars behind the scenes. Media narratives influence public opinion and fighter popularity. Careers can be built slowly over years or destroyed overnight.

  • The world evolves whether you succeed or fail.

  • No two careers, promotions, or boxing worlds will ever unfold the same way.

FIGHT NIGHT IS THE PAYOFF

Promote events ranging from small local cards to historic mega-fights.

Choose venues, undercards, production quality, marketing spend, pacing, and matchmaking strategy. A poorly constructed card can hurt your reputation. A legendary event can define an era.

  • Build complete fight cards

  • Balance entertainment vs profitability

  • Create rivalries and long-term narratives

  • Handle late pullouts, controversies, and injuries

  • Simulated fight results driven by fighter styles, preparation, and matchmaking

RUN THE BUSINESS, NOT JUST THE ROSTER

Boxing is politics, money, and manipulation.

Negotiate contracts with demanding fighters and ruthless managers. Handle purse splits, rematch clauses, sponsorship demands, injuries, and failed negotiations. Decide whether to protect your prospects carefully… or throw them into dangerous fights for a payday.

  • Dynamic contract negotiations

  • Sanctioning body politics and rankings

  • PPV revenue and ticket pricing

  • Media obligations and public perception

  • Rival promoters competing for talent

  • Fighter morale, loyalty, and career expectations

A LIVING BOXING WORLD

The world moves with or without you.

Rival promotions sign talent. Champions duck contenders. Prospects fail. Unknown underdogs become legends. Media narratives influence popularity and negotiations. The sport evolves over decades.

No two saves develop the same way.

FULLY MODDABLE

Shape the boxing world however you want.

PROMOTER: The Fight Game is designed with modding support at its core, allowing players to customise and expand nearly every aspect of the game.

Create:

  • Custom fighters and promoters

  • New organisations and championships

  • Alternate eras and historical databases

  • Custom logos, graphics, and branding

Whether you want a modern boxing simulation, a fictional combat sports universe, or a completely chaotic alternate history of the sport, the tools are in your hands.

FEATURES

  • Deep promotional business simulation: contracts, finances, sponsorships, broadcast deals

  • Broadcast-caliber fight night presentation: tale of the tape, weigh-ins, live scorecards

  • No scripted campaign: every save generates its own careers and rivalries

  • A living world of rival promoters and hundreds of fighters that keeps moving whether you're winning or not

  • Full modding support: custom fighters, promotions, championships, and databases
