Why Early Access?

“Because we are creating an open-world sandbox simulator, it's very important for us to iterate with the players before reaching the final version. We believe Early Access will be great for that considering the possibility of staying very close to our players and listening to all of their feedback. We had a great Early Access experience with our previous game and we believe this time will be even better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We will be in Early Access for at least 6 months. We will use this time to create more content, balance and polish the game. We will not leave Early Access until we find Zombuds to be super awesome.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to increase the open-world size, add more quests, drugs, weapons, zombies types and automation items. We also intend to put a lot of effort to improve the balancing, progression and polish of the overall game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game already has an open-world with several locations for you to explore with your friends in co-op, as well as quests, zombies, drugs, weapons and automation items. The core gameplay which is explore and loot the world, manufacture and distribute all kinds of weirdness, rampage across the sandbox in co-op and automate and expand your empire is already working in full force. You will be able to enjoy a premium experience playing Zombuds at its current state.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price once before the 1.0 launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The main purpose of the Early Access is to involve the Community directly with the game's development. To do this, we will be very active in the Steam forums and our Discord server. We want your feedback on balance, bugs, content, mechanics, features and crazy ideas. To incorporate the Community's suggestions as well as our own ideas into the game, there will be frequent updates. We strongly encourage you to engage with us on the Steam forums and on our Discord so you can be part of the development as well.”

About This Game

While others scramble to survive, you hustle to build your black market empire.

Fifteen years after the collapse, society is learning how to live with the zombies. Most live in turret-protected settlements, you, however, are made of different stuff. Loot, manufacture and distribute a variety of unconventional goods across a zombie-infested sandbox to grow your empire and live the dream life among the undead in this open-world co-op sim.
