Engine of Chaos is a train survival game where you drive an upgradeable war machine through an endless zombie wasteland. Mount weapons, bolt on carriages, and plough through the horde — upgrading between checkpoints to push further into increasingly hostile territory.

Arm Your Train

Your engine turret evolves from a humble machine gun through twin .50 cals and grenade launchers all the way to a triple-barrelled minigun. But the real firepower comes from your carriages — bolt on rocket launchers, flamethrowers, tesla coils, flak cannons, and more. Each carriage fights on its own, turning your train into a rolling fortress of destruction.

Discover Combos

Fully upgrade two carriages and they can fuse into something far more powerful. A Flamethrower and Tesla Coil become a Plasma Arc, a continuous beam that chains between enemies. Rockets and Firebombs create Napalm Strike rockets that leave the ground burning. There are 10 combo carriages to discover, each fundamentally changing how your train fights.

Upgrade at Every Checkpoint

Between runs through the wasteland, you stop at depot stations to spend your hard-earned points. Upgrade your hull armour, fuel capacity, engine speed, weapon systems, and ram. Unlock new carriage slots with a slot machine that offers three random carriages to choose from. Every decision shapes your build.

Three Biomes. Fifty Stages. One Direction: Forward.

Push through sun-scorched desert, into ruined city streets, and finally down into hell itself — where lava cracks split the earth and bone colossi stalk the tracks. Each biome brings new enemies, obstacles, and challenges. Fifty hand-crafted stage profiles ensure the horde never fights the same way twice.
