The Road Warriors

A storm is coming. The biggest one in recent times. In these zero visibility conditions, only fools and madmen will leave the Garage. You don't look like a fool — you're still alive. So, I guess it's just a bunch of madmen. Fine, let's go then...Stop! Does everyone here have their Tier V vehicles? If not, get yourself the Scavenger at least. Everybody else — attention!

Hot coffee in the morning and homemade pastries? A myth. French fries and burgers? Fiction. TV shows and music? A history long forgotten. You are in the Wasteland. Only a few settlements remain here, plundered by a gang of psychos. There are locals that need resources to survive the storm. You may be a madman, but you don’t work for free — there will be rewards, plenty of them. But don't just hide in the bushes, otherwise you won't get anything.

Here's a VHS with short instructions:
It's simple, really. Open the map. There you will find two routes and marked settlements. Earn fuel and supplies for the nearest settlement, seize your reward, and move forward.

You can hit the road from October 17 through October 25. The task must be completed in 10 days. Then you will have an extra 8 days to purchase resources using gold. We will wrap it up on November 12

  • CIS: Individual start from October 17, 8:00 (MSK) through October 25, 8:00 (MSK).
  • Europe: Individual start from October 17, 8:00 (CEST) through October 25, 8:00 (CEST).
  • North America: Individual start from October 17, 4:00 (PT), 7:00 (ET) through October 25, 4:00 (PT), 7:00 (ET).
  • Asia: Individual start from October 17, 8:00 (UTC+8) through October 25, 8:00 (UTC+8).

Keep in mind — you have to collect a whole lot of resources. Only the most skilled players will be able to cross the entire Wasteland!

These days, Biogas is worth its weight in gold. It is normally used for tanks, but the locals also use it as fuel for power generators in their settlements. You can earn Biogas both in regular battles and in the Mad Games arenas. Each win will earn you 50–100 cans of Biogas depending on your vehicle tier.

Here's the formula: 10 cans of Biogas multiplied by the vehicle tier.

By the way, don't expect to sit on the sidelines while others are fighting for victory: you can get Biogas only if you earn at least 300 base Combat XP.

Apart from Biogas, you will also need Cookies. This nutritious delicacy doesn't go stale or lose its taste. Besides, it goes really well with tea from the dust of Indian roads . You can find Cookies across the Wasteland. As a rule, they are packaged in Common Containers that protect food from radiation.

On average you can find 667 Cookies in each Container. Maybe more, maybe less.

You will get plenty of rewards for completing the task:
  • The Gravedigger
  • The Tankenstein
  • 1 certificate for 9 hours of Premium Account
  • 67 Rare Combat XP boosters
  • 67 Rare Crew XP boosters
  • 67 Rare Free XP boosters
  • 20,000 Free XP

One of the routes will lead you to the Tankenstein. You’ve probably already heard about this finalist of "the most dreadful tank" contest. Two hundred years ago, a mad scientist assembled it from the parts of other vehicles. Thick armor, increased profitability, and two powerful guns — you can also mount an alternative gun for 100 Combat XP. Prepare to make your enemy's existence a nightmare.

It is still unclear how this heavy tank made it through the apocalypse without falling apart, but the ruthless Tankenstein is ready to fight again!

The second route will lead you to the Gravedigger. In years gone by (in 2018 to be more precise), Peter Pound©, the Principal Vehicle designer of Mad Max: Fury Road, drew some sketches of this vehicle. And when the old world collapsed, the mad Wasteland engineers constructed a working prototype.

This vehicle is equipped with a 6-pounder 57 mm Nailgun with 6 shells in the magazine. It's loading time is just 0.67 seconds. The whole magazine takes roughly 11 seconds to reload, so stock up on shells and prepare for nonstop shooting.

The vehicle's armor is able to survive the attacks of most Tier VII medium and heavy tanks. The Gravedigger also features reliable frontal armor thanks to the extreme ricochet angles of its upper and lower plates. The sides, however, are a bit thin, but you can still sidescrape.

Moreover, the vehicle features decent dynamics and the highest weight for its tier. The combination of speed, weight, and armor is a powerful one if you want to finish off your enemies by ramming them. So, don't hesitate to crush everything that moves.

Besides this, the Gravedigger is a Collector vehicle, so you can always sell it for 2,500 Gold in tough times.

Well, let's hope we didn't miss anything important... Ah yes, if you happen to use the Tankenstein or Gravedigger in the Mad Games arenas, don't forget about modifications. The first one is equipped with solid Uranium Shield and Half-Life Discharge, which increases your damage. The second one can boast Chameleon Concealment (hello invisibility, my old friend!) and Battle Coordinator, which improves some gun characteristics.

Well, that's all Folks!

How to Get the Scavenger

Well hello there, survivor! Word has it you were kinda taken aback at the general meeting. They say that our life sucks and we have to fight for food and water all the time. Well, I agree. I'm not going to comfort you and pretend that we're sleeping on feather beds. But right now, you can calm down a little: my assignment won't be difficult.

So, here’s the story. The other day, I received an invitation from our elders to have some tea... I mean, some water with dust. And they said: ‘We have decided to invest in the future!’ Do you hear that? They’re geniuses! There’s a reason they’re the elders! We'll give a tank to the warriors, so that they can get more fuel and supplies for us. All you need to do is prove that you are worth your salt, which means winning 50 battles. You have to admit, it's not too much to ask. They are definitely very generous people!

The mission is simple. But I know how absent-minded you newcomers can be: you always forget everything and then tag along and ask the same questions over and over again. That's why I've recorded every single thing. Here, take the dictaphone: have a listen, remember everything, and tell the others. You see, there are too many of you and too few functioning devices.

Detailed instructions in 3.. 2.. 1..

Enter the game from October 17 through November 7. Score 50 victories in regular battles or in the Mad Games arenas within 10 days. Then click the “Win It!” button in the Garage and get the Scavenger. End of record.

It's a snap, isn't it? Here's a piece of paper, where I've jotted down everything by date. You are free to decide when to start the mission.

Individual Start and Timelines

Upon entering the game from October 17 through November 7 for the first time, your 10-day countdown will start. If you manage to win 50 battles during this time, you will get the Scavenger for free. The second stage of the mission will begin after 10 days. During this stage, you will be able to bring some gold to the elders, and they will turn a blind eye to your insufficient number of victories and give the tank to you. The second stage will last for 3 days.{list]
  • Europe: individual start from October 17, 8:00 (CEST) to November 7, 7:00 (CET).
  • North America: individual start from October 17, 4:00 (PT), 7:00 (ET) to November 7, 4:00 (PT), 7:00 (ET).
  • Asia: individual start from October 17, 8:00 (UTC+8) through November 7, 8:00 (UTC+8).
  • CIS: individual start from October 17, 8:00 (MSK) through November 7, 8:00 (MSK).

Battles on vehicles with special modifications will be available in the Mad Games arenas from October 17 through November 12. But you will not be able to fight at night from 0:00 (UTC) to 5:00 (UTC). Break schedule by servers:
  • Europe: from 1:00 (CEST) to 8:00 (CEST) / from 0:00 (CET) to 7:00 (CET).
  • North America: from 22:00 (PT), 1:00 (ET) to 3:00 (PT), 6:00 (ET).
  • Asia: from 2:00 (UTC+8) to 8:00 (UTC+8).
  • CIS: from 3:00 (МSK) to 8:00 (МSK).

Entrance to the arenas in the battle type selection menu:

Now follow me, let's have a closer look at this tank.

Hope of the Wasteland

Here it is, our beauty. Don't look at the rusty bits—the weather here isn’t always, heh, sunny, so the armor certainly suffers. But the turret is solid enough: 75 mm of frontal sloped armor. Bounce off enemy shells, block damage, and survive. While you’re holding position, the decent depression and elevation angles (8 and 12 degrees respectively) of the 75 mm gun will allow you to strike back.

And strike back effectively! There are two guns at your disposal—just choose the appropriate one. The standard Scourge gun penetrates 110 mm of armor and inflicts 160 HP of damage with an AP shell. You can also mount an alternative howitzer for 12,000 Combat XP. Unlucky are those enemies who dare get too close, since the Shellthrower gun can cause 250 HP of damage with an AP shell.

The speed isn’t as high as that of the lightning-quick M7, but the tank can easily move forward at 50 km/h and backward at 20 km/h. This vehicle also has a high crossing capacity on different terrains, and that makes sense: we’ve only seen smooth roads in the pictures from old magazines.

If you are already tuned into the Mad Games mode, featuring various modifications, here are some more things for you to think about. The Scavenger comes with the Saboteur System and Accelerator modifications installed, which makes it an assault tank on the battlefield. The Accelerator will allow for both rushing into battle and quickly escaping, while the sandstorm and Saboteur System will help you cover your retreat. You can move around the battlefield like a flash and hit the enemy's weak spots.

A Tank with History

I'm absolutely sure that you'll want to get this tank, whatever its characteristics. Since it isn’t just another vehicle to be claimed and forgotten. In years gone by (in 2018 to be more precise), Peter Pound©, the Principal Vehicle Designer of the Mad Max: Fury Road movie, drew some tank sketches in the post-apocalyptic style.

When the old world collapsed, our engineers decided to construct this particular prototype. People liked this idea, and now it is the most popular tank in the Wasteland. So Peter literally predicted the future. It's fantastic, isn't it?

Furthermore, the Scavenger is a collector vehicle. This means that in hard times, when the going gets tough, you will be able to sell it for 250 gold.

Last but Not Least

I see you've already started thinking about winning strategies. Good on you! Guess what else we appreciate? Team spirit! Members of the same team wear similar clothes. That's what we did before the apocalypse and that's what we do now.

Turn round the corner and you will see a booth that’s a tone darker than the others—this is our shop. There’s nothing to distract the local seamstresses, so the shop's product range is expanded on a regular basis.

See the merch

I think that's all for now. Meanwhile, make yourself at home and look around. As for me, I'll go and give further instructions. There are still the Gravedigger and Tankenstein, so be ready to pull up your socks to earn them. Take care!

Let engines roar and so forth.
