About This Game

An action platformer that features cartoony visuals, smooth animations, flashy graphics, and a dark, pop-art style!

GOBBLE up everything!

GOBBLE is a 2D action platformer with eating as its central theme. Venture out into the world searching for your missing family, armed with a “sickle” that devours monsters to get stronger.

Despite the supposed eradication of monsters, our protagonist, Rute, finds himself confronted by a large group of them, and just as things appear to be turning grim, a solitary bird-like monster appears before him, saying:

“Take me as thy weapon.”

From then on, guided by this hungry creature, Rute’s peaceful everyday life gradually became anything but.

“I HUNGER!”

The protagonist’s partner is a sickle?!

At the center of the story are two characters: Rute, a young boy who longs for his family, and Kamael, a monster who treats Rute like his own personal manservant. Their interactions are part of what makes GOBBLE so much fun.

The Key to the Game Is “Hunting for Prey”

Devour the world and steal its power!

Accompanying Rute on his adventure is Kamael, a monster with bird-like features who speaks the human language. However, he’s quite unusual for a monster, in that he enjoys preying on others, and can use their powers as his own.

Together, they’ll encounter a lot of monsters on their travels! Use Kamael’s power to help you face down the attacking hordes and make them your prey!

Feeding on them like this will provide you with all kinds of benefits, depending on the type of monster consumed–such as additional hearts for your health gauge–that will make clearing stages way easier.
