About This Demo

The Story 

Humanity flees a dying Earth and finds hope on a new planet until a demonic alien race annihilates it. The few survivors are imprisoned and turned into test subjects to create monstrous hybrids.

Romit, one of the last remaining alive, escapes from a prison suspended over a sea of lava and embarks on a desperate journey through a hostile world of forests, fortresses, dungeons, and castles.

The Game

The Soul of Romit is a first-person shooter inspired by classics like Doom and Hexen, featuring endless levels of action and ever-changing environments. Choose from 8 powerful weapons and face hordes of ferocious enemies in breathtaking battles. Survive, uncover the secrets of the planet, and try to save what remains of humanity.

About This Demo

This demo includes the first two levels of the game and approximately 20 minutes of gameplay.
Players can explore two distinct areas, encounter enemies, and collect weapons while experiencing the core mechanics and basic progression system.

It is also possible to save your progress within the demo.

The full game will include additional levels, more enemies, new weapons, upgrades, expanded areas, story content, and extended gameplay features not available in this demo.

Message to the community 

The Soul of Romit is currently still in development. The demo you can download will be updated frequently, including the latest improvements and new features.

At the moment, I’m working on weapon animations, sound design, some enemy animations, texture fixes, bug fixes, and overall testing.
