About This Game

HEX SECULUM brings the feeling of a classic tabletop adventure to PC, where the map is full of unknowns and every decision costs something. You travel a dangerous world one hex at a time, choosing when to push forward, when to rest, and when to turn back before supplies run out.

Explore a world one hex at a time

Plan expeditions across wilderness, roads, and settlements using a simple day structure with limited actions. Each step forward is a tradeoff between progress and safety. Spend your time to move, scout, forage, rest, and interact with what you find.

Food and water matter. Waste days wandering and you will feel it. Take risks and you may discover new locations, or run straight into trouble.

Towns, rumors, and hard choices

Settlements give you a chance to breathe, but never for free. Talk to people, hear rumors, trade for gear, and decide what to carry into the wild. Your next destination is not a waypoint, it is a wager.

Dungeons with real pressure

Step into a dungeon and time becomes your enemy. Actions advance the clock in clear turns, and the deeper you go, the more the place pushes back.

Stay too long and you risk attracting wandering threats. Light burns down over time, so every room searched and every detour taken comes with a cost. Ignore rest and your party builds exhaustion, stacking penalties until someone collapses.

Barricade doors, search for traps, look for hidden paths, or move fast and hope you are not making a mistake.

Turn based battles where distance matters

When combat begins, battles play out in a clear side view with your party facing enemies across multiple distance lanes. Positioning is not decoration, it is survival. Close in to lock down fragile foes, hold the line to protect weaker allies, or fall back and risk being punished for it.

On your turn, you choose how to move and what to do. Attack, cast spells, use special abilities, or spend items at the right moment. The options are easy to grasp, but the consequences are not.

Monsters with nasty surprises

Creatures are built to be understood quickly and feared immediately, with clear strengths and weaknesses. Expect classic dangers and strange horrors that change how you fight, from relentless undead threats to deadly assassins carrying impossible weapons.
