About This Game

The Afterlife Cafe, presented by Guava Pixel Studios™, is a cozy urban sci-fi fantasy visual novel about connection and self-discovery. It's a narrative game that encourages reflection on life. You play as Kyree, a Black woman in her mid-20s who is new at her corporate job. Throughout the game, she learns about friendship as she discovers a strange connection between herself and the afterlife cafes. These cafes allow people to take a trip to the afterlife to chat with spirits and learn of their stories. There's work drama, uplifting conversations, and opportunity for introspection.
