왜 앞서 해보기를 진행하나요?

“The original goal was to offer a simple Proof of Concept to the community as early as possible. However, my passion for playing and expanding the game shifted the scope significantly. What started as a basic prototype has already evolved into a fully playable ARPG. I want to continue this agile development alongside players to ensure the final vision matches the needs of the community.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“I estimate the Early Access phase will last approximately 6 to 12 months. Development is moving extremely fast, but I want to ensure the final transition to 'Full Release' includes a polished end-game experience, all planned content tiers (Eras) and a complete visual overhaul of combat effects while maintaining the fast-paced update schedule.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“The full version is envisioned as a natural evolution of the Early Access foundation, with the aim of expanding the game's scope and refining its mechanics. Development is intended to be fluid and responsive to feedback, focusing on areas such as:

Visual Iteration: Plans include progressively refining spell and skill effects to improve visual fidelity over time.

Expanded Progression: The roadmap aims to introduce further content tiers, potentially adding new equipment variations and enemy types to extend the gameplay loop.

Additional Gameplay Options: Future updates may explore new modes or systems designed to offer different challenges, depending on how the core game develops.

Since the game is expected to undergo constant development and structural improvements, updates may occasionally impact save file compatibility. This flexibility is necessary to allow for significant changes and to ensure the game can grow without technical limitations.”

“The game is already beyond a basic proof-of-concept. It currently features:
Three Fully Playable Classes: Warrior, Mage, and Archer, each with their own mechanics.
Core Systems: Rebirth (Reset), Legacy (Master Reset), and deep Mastery trees are fully functional.
Multiplayer: Stable 9-player co-op with shared progression.
Content: 16+ monster types and multiple live events.
Note: Many spell and skill visuals are currently functional prototypes and are slated for a major artistic upgrade during Early Access.”

Iron Legacy is a hardcore, top-down 2D Action RPG built for those who find peace in the grind. Inspired by the relentless progression of classics like Mu Online and Helbreath, it strips away the fluff to focus on what matters: killing monsters, finding loot, and scaling your power to infinite heights.

THE INFINITE ASCENSION: REBIRTH & LEGACY

Death is not the end, and neither is the level cap. In Iron Legacy, progression is a cycle that fuels your power.

  • Rebirth (Reset): Once you hit your limit, reset your level to 1. In exchange, you gain permanent stat points that make your next journey faster and deadlier.

  • Legacy (Master Reset): For the truly dedicated. Sacrifice your progress to ascend to a Legacy Rank, unlocking God-tier rewards, permanent XP multipliers, and the legendary Legacy Weapon—a relic that scales with your soul.

SATISFYING COMBAT & DOMINANCY

Experience the "satisfying crunch" of 2D combat. Whether you are a Warrior holding the line, a Mage raining Energy Bolts or an Archer showering arrows, the goal is clear: total map control. Farm your favourite "spots," survive the hordes, and feel the progression as you go from struggling with snakes to obliterating bosses.

Choose from three distinct classes, each designed to dominate the battlefield in its own way:

  • The Warrior: A melee powerhouse. Master the Defend Stance to shrug off blows and toggle between powerful Auras that buff you and your allies.

  • The Mage: Control the elements. From devastating Energy Bolts to crowd-controlling Ice Storms, the Mage also provides crucial Stat Buffs and Shields to keep the party alive.

  • The Archer: High-speed precision. Stay mobile and rain death from afar with rapid-fire projectiles.

MASTER YOUR ARSENAL

Build your character your way. There are no fixed paths—only your choices and your dedication.

  • Deep Stat Customisation: Distribute points into STR, AGI, VIT, and INT to fine-tune your combat style.

  • Spell & Weapon Mastery: The more you use a specific weapon type or spell, the more proficient you become. Mastery reduces costs, increases damage, and speeds up your casting.

  • Passive Expertise: Scale your power through dedicated mastery systems that reward long-term play.

MASTER THE BESTIARY

You don't just kill monsters; you study them. As you defeat enemies, your Monster Expertise grows.

  • Learn their weaknesses: Higher expertise levels grant you bonus damage and damage reduction against specific species.

  • Better Butchery: The more you know a monster, the more effectively you can loot it, increasing your rare drop chances.

9-PLAYER CO-OP & SYNERGIES

The world is dangerous, but you don't have to face it alone. Host a session for up to 9 players (8 friends + host) and dominate the map together.

  • Class Synergies: Warriors provide powerful Defensive and Offensive Auras that benefit the whole party.

  • Mage Support: Mages aren't just damage dealers—they provide critical Protection, Healing, and Berserk buffs to keep the frontline standing.

  • Shared Glory: Coordinate your builds to tackle higher-tier zones and split the legendary loot.

  • Shared Progression: Kill together on the same spot to trigger Bonus XP and Shared Mastery Progression. In Iron Legacy, you don't compete for resources—you grow stronger, faster as a team.

A LIVING WORLD: DYNAMIC EVENTS

The map is constantly changing, offering new opportunities for those who are ready.

  • Happy Hour: Random zones receive a massive 2x XP boost for a limited time. Watch the map and move fast!

  • Super Boss Packs: High-density hordes of Minibosses and Bosses can spawn anywhere, anytime, offering high risks for high rewards.
