Why Early Access?

“Early access gives us an opportunity for Miniature Mania to receive player feedback and help us improve the game by focusing on the features that players want and need. Early access should also help us identify quality of life features that will make the game a more smooth and complete experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Miniature Mania to remain in early access while we continue expanding the game's features and content while processing the early access feedback. Our goal is to transition out of early access once the core systems and planned features are in place. We're aiming somewhere between 6-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access will focus primarily on the miniature painting experience, but the full version is planned to expand the game with a rules agnostic tabletop experience.
Our goal is to make the game a full rules agnostic tabletop experience where people can sit around a virtual table and enjoy the games they would love to play with friends but can't due to real life distance. For this we will expand the collection of miniatures, add features to support the tabletop experience, improve upon existing features, the art style, and focus on bringing people, their miniatures, and the tabletop together.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current early access version is focused on miniature painting. It has a limited amount of miniatures and features while we continue development and gather feedback. For more information see the "About this game" section. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, Miniature Mania is planned to be free to play at launch and will remain free throughout the early access. All core features, updates, and quality of life improvements will be available to all players. We would like to offer miniature packs later down the line against a price to support and fund future development of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'd love to receive your feedback in our Discord server and we will be keeping an eye on our social media to see what is received well and what requires improvements. ”

Miniature Mania lets you pick up a brush, choose your paint, and bring miniatures to life at your own pace. The game currently focuses on a relaxing painting experience without the stress and worry of ruining your very first miniature.

Use intuitive controls to pick up, scale, and paint your minis with precision. You can place your hobby desk directly into your real environment in mixed reality and paint as if the miniatures were sitting right on your table.

This early version focuses on delivering a satisfying painting experience inspired by real-world hobby painting. Miniature Mania will expand over time into a broader tabletop experience where your painted miniatures can take the stage on the battlefield in a rules-agnostic tabletop experience.
