This DEMO features:

  • One playable Planet with 3 habitats

  • Playtime of around 0.5 - 2 hours

  • Upgrade Tech tree with 20 different possible upgrades

  • A total of 11 Biosamples to find that give unique abilities

  • Save load system through Checkpoints (Optionally with Steam Cloud)

STEEB’s core gameplay is exploration. After landing on an unknown planet, you set out to look for scraps, minerals, and alien organisms to extract samples from. Find what is hidden in the brushes, discover hidden caves, and reconnect paths by collapsing or drilling blockades.

To adapt quickly to unknown planets, STEEBs are equipped with a Biocore. After extracting samples from alien plants and creatures, the Biocore uses mimicry to give STEEB a unique ability from that alien organism. Also, these samples are highly important to investigate the habitability of the planet.

By collecting scraps and minerals STEEB can gain various upgrades, of 4 different categories: Core (Energy and Extracting), Movement, Arm (Mining, Extract range, Drilling), and Shield. Choose your upgrades strategically, depending on the situations that you encounter, and the alien abilities that you find.

The planets have several hostile creatures and environmental hazards. Employ your shield and alien abilities that you have gained to overcome the challenges.
