◆ About This Game

Keepwright is a turn-based card strategy game that fuses deck-building, base-building, and tower defense. Starting from an empty wilderness, you place Struct cards (buildings) on a grid map to establish your stronghold. Each building you construct adds unique Action cards to your deck, expanding your resource-gathering and combat capabilities — build, cycle, fight. Choose your supporter, forge the ultimate fortress, and take down powerful bosses.

◆ Key Features

- Build and Your Deck Grows — Placing a Struct card adds that building's unique Action cards to your deck. Farms produce Harvest (food), Barracks produce Strike (attack) — the more you build, the more you can do.

- Tower and Wall Synergy — Towers automatically attack enemies in range each turn. Place walls adjacent to towers to extend their range and boost their damage. Building placement determines your defensive strength.

- Adjacent Bonus System — Place a Smithy next to Barracks, and the attack cards generated by the Barracks deal more damage. The spatial relationship between buildings has a major impact on your fighting power.

- 4 Unique Supporters — Choose from 4 supporters, each with a unique building, starter deck, and strategic tendencies. Every run demands a different approach.

- Shop and Random Events — Purchase Struct and Action cards with Gold at the shop. Random events during your adventure present choices: gain resources, add cards, encounter enemies, and more.

- Makeshift Instant Purchase — No attack cards in hand? Spend resources to instantly generate makeshift weapons or shields and turn the tide of battle.

- Boss Action Preview — The boss's next action (move, attack, summon, area attack) is displayed on the UI. Read the threat ahead and respond with defensive preparations or focused attacks.

- Territory Expansion Bonuses — Each time you unlock new land, discover bonuses like shops, random events, resources, card draws, and base fortification. But beware of ambushes lurking in the wilderness.

◆ Gameplay Flow

Draw cards at the start of each turn. Towers automatically attack enemies and building abilities activate during the Turn Start phase.

During the Player Action phase, spend limited Action Points (AP) to play Action cards — gather resources, attack enemies with Strike, or purchase cards from the shop. Once per turn, place a Struct card from your hand to construct a building. Each building adds Action cards to your deck, steadily growing your capabilities.

Manage four resources — Food, Wood, Stone, and Gold — to cover building costs and land expansion. Build a defensive network of towers and walls while strengthening your deck and board in preparation for boss encounters.

Defeating enemies earns Treasure — choose between increasing your base's max HP, gaining a new card, or collecting Gold. Defeating a boss fully restores your base HP and expands the map.

Powerful bosses appear at regular intervals, each demanding a different strategy to overcome.

◆ Meet the Supporters

- Roxy — A balanced supporter whose unique building "Guardian Shrine" grants defensive power to the base every turn. With high durability and increased Holy card appearance rates, she offers stable defense and a versatile starter deck suited to any situation. Recommended for beginners.

- Ciel — A defense-focused supporter who excels at constructing impenetrable fortifications with towers and walls. While her starting HP is low, she begins with abundant Food, Wood, and Stone to build strong defenses from the very first turn.

- Fenris — A rapid-response supporter who wields mercenary forces and expendable units. With high starting Gold, she delivers explosive bursts of power that can turn the tide in an instant.

- Misty — A debuff-focused supporter who stacks Poison, Weakness, and Vulnerability to neutralize enemies. While her immediate impact is low, the accumulation of status ailments steadily wears down even the toughest foes and bosses.
