When you arrive in the secluded Saxon city of Schwarzgrunde, you expect a simple task — help Agnes von Rottenburg, the last heir of a disgraced ducal family, clear her bloodline’s name. But the deeper you dig, the clearer it becomes: the entire city was built to hide something.

Decades ago, the brilliant architect Heinrich Braun reshaped Schwarzgrunde with ambitious designs and the magnificent Schwarzgrunde estate at its heart. Then he vanished. His blueprints disappeared. Records were altered. Sealed chambers were forgotten. And whispers of a curse began to spread.

Together with local historian Tomas Kraus, you investigate a mansion filled with locked rooms and hidden mechanisms — but the truth extends far beyond its walls. Abandoned chapels, secret archives, shadowed basements, and historic landmarks all conceal fragments of a conspiracy someone is desperate to erase.

The closer you get to the truth, the tighter Schwarzgrunde’s unseen forces close around you.
