ABOUT THIS GAME

Void Salvage is a roguelike space exploration RPG  and auto-battler about drifting through hostile sectors, harvesting derelict ships, upgrading your ship, and surviving long enough to push deeper into the void.

You pilot a lone salvage ship through procedurally generated space routes filled with Points of Interest, enemy encounters, and rare discoveries. Every jump forward increases danger - and opportunity.

CORE GAMEPLAY LOOP

• Navigate between Points of Interest and Sectors

• Salvage drifting wreckage for credits and resources

• Fight off hostile ships and ambushes in real-time space combat

• Install modules, augments, drones, sockets, and weapon upgrades

• Push into higher sectors with escalating threats

• Risk everything for greater rewards or retreat and regroup

SPACE COMBAT

Combat happens in real time as enemies enter the area. Your ship auto-fires based on installed weapons and modifiers, upgrades, build choices determine survival.

• Multiple weapon types such as Ballistics, Burst, Flak, Laser, Plasma - all with distinct stats and behaviors

• Elite enemies and special encounters that require preparation

• Tactical escape options when fights turn bad

Build synergies matter. A reckless setup can end a run fast.

SHIP CUSTOMIZATION AND BUILDS

Your ship is fully modular.

• Modules improve core systems like shields, engines, sensors, and cooldowns

• Augments add special effects such as homing shots, chain attacks, explosions, or reactive defenses

• Drones provide support roles including salvage automation, repairs, shielding, or combat assistance

• Sockets unlock passive effects that drastically alter playstyle

Different combinations enable vastly different builds, from high-risk glass cannons to automated salvage-focused ships.

PROGRESSION AND META-UPGRADES

Advancement happens on multiple layers:

• Sector progression increases enemy difficulty and loot quality

• Credits are spent on upgrades, repairs, and stores during a run

• Experience unlocks permanent meta upgrades between runs

• Prestige to resets and unlock new systems and features

Failure is expected. Knowledge, unlocks, and permanent upgrades carry forward.

EXPLORATION AND DISCOVERY

Space is not static.

• Branching routes force meaningful choices

• Sensor upgrades reveal hidden threats or rewards

• Rare events, anomalies, and messages hint at deeper mysteries

• Some discoveries permanently change how your ship operates
