About This Game

Blind Nature is an audio-game that is designed to be played without visuals. Follow Liora's story as she escapes from her burning home village, and sets out to explore the West to understand the curse that has taken ahold of her home forest. Interact with local characters to begin quests that lead to a variety of environments with unique audio-centered gameplay mechanics.

Team up with your companion

With a magical companion bird called Kestrel at your side, learn how to navigate and understand your environment from the audio cues that Kestrel makes. Solve puzzles based on shapes, direction and sound to uncover new ancient locations with lore fragments and quest items.

Shoot a magical bow

Learn how to shoot a magical bow while relying on both your own hearing and aid from Kestrel in tense reaction-based encounters. Listen, aim, shoot and dodge in a unique radial 360 archery system.

Explore a rich world of sound

Explore forests, rivers, caves, snow, day and night scenes with rich 3D spatial sound. Take a break at any time to set up your campfire, listen to the environment, cook and play minigames.

Imagination as visuals on the screen

Everything Liora hears and learns about her surroundings combine to create a colorful visual experience on the screen. As you move, turn and go from place to place, the visuals adapt to match Liora's imagination.

Blind Nature tries to push the limits of unique and experimental gameplay for audio games and pairs that with diverse worldbuilding, environment sound and music design.
