About This Demo

Samurai GUNN 2 is a fighting game for people who love fast, twitchy action games.

We devoted 3 years to rebuilding Samurai GUNN 2 from scratch in our own custom engine to ensure the online matches are fast and reliable, and to make it easy for us to support for years to come. With this solid foundation in place, you can look forward to regular updates with new characters, new stages, new modes, and various other improvements.

LOCAL AND ONLINE

Face off against friends locally on the couch, or play online in 1v1 and Free-for-All battles. Enjoy reliable rollback netcode in Ranked and Casual Matchmaking. You can even set up a private lobby to hang out and play with your friends.

PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

HAYAO is the best character to start with. He is by far the fastest character in the game, and in Samurai Gunn 2, that makes him one of the strongest.

OTOMO shoots fireballs that can trap opponents (and herself if you’re not careful!). She can slash through her fire traps to gain an incredible boost of speed for a limited time.

PURCHASE THE FULL GAME TO PLAY AS THE REST OF THE CAST:

GOLEM can create destructible stone blocks with his bullets. He can even create statues that can obstruct, frustrate, and crush opponents.

POPS is slow and strong–very dangerous in close quarters. He can dash-grab opponents and send them flying to their explosive deaths. He can even dash-grab their bullets and return-to-sender. His bullets explode on impact and the splash damage can kill through walls.

GHOST has an echo float ability that makes her unpredictable in air combat. Pay close attention because her bullets are invisible, She can temporarily turn invisible as well when she dashes. Chain together successive kills to remain invisible and terrify your opponents.

SLUG is the choice for high IQ players. So many tricks–he can stick to walls and run on the ceiling. He shoots kunai instead of bullets that he (or his opponents!) can retrieve and re-fire. He can tilt the kunai in unpredictable directions. He’s kind of slow, but he has a fast-fall mixup to catch opponents off-guard. Try him once you’ve mastered the basics.
