About This Demo

Void Combat Disk is a hardcore grid-based real-time combat Roguelike. In a high-contrast neon world, you must calculate every point of stamina, build your strategy through a unique tag-based assembly system, and adapt to the events that occur during each time interval.

Extremely Hardcore Stamina Strategy

Movement is a tactical choice: Your movement speed determines how far you can move in a single action, but a long-distance rush may drain your stamina completely, leaving you defenseless during the enemies’ turn.

Calculate every step: No step is free. Should you recover stamina behind cover and wait for the right moment, or overdraw your stamina to launch a deadly combo? The choice is yours.

“Tag” and “Assembly” System

Weapons and items: The game features dozens of distinctive weapons and items. Each weapon can also be modified through various upgrades. For example, a melee weapon can be transformed into a ranged weapon, allowing it to benefit from ranged weapon attachments.

Attachment enhancement: Items placed in attachment slots enhance your equipped items based on their tags, such as [Melee], [Ranged], [Combo], and [Cooldown].

Event System and Time Intervals

Each time interval initially lasts 10 seconds. At the end of every interval, events are triggered, enemies spawn, cooldowns are reduced, and more. As the game progresses, each interval becomes shorter, making the pace faster and more intense.

Foresee the future: The event slots preview upcoming changes in advance, and you are free to rearrange the remaining events.

Adapt to the situation: Responding wisely is crucial. Lure enemies into areas where lightning is about to strike, or use event-based buffs to wipe out the battlefield.

Varied Roguelike Experience

Randomized themed journeys: The game is planned to feature 6 different themes, each with its own enemies, events, terrain objects, marks, and more.

Random level objectives: Victory is not always about killing every enemy. Sometimes you must survive under extreme pressure, while other times you need to eliminate a specific target. Every stage requires a different strategy.

Mark system: After clearing each level, choose from several random marks to further specialize your combat style.
