About This Game

Build and manage an agricultural enterprise from a handful of mediocre fields to a sprawling operation spanning over 30km².

This is a turn-based hardcore management game, not a cozy farming simulator. You don't drive tractors, tend animals, or roleplay characters. You make decisions, read numbers, manage risk - and live with the consequences.

Inspired by classic tycoons and grand strategy games, Agrocracy treats farming as what it really is: a fragile system of weather, labor, capital, and time.

Set on an old-school isometric map, you manage time, workers, fields, machines, and crops in pursuit of profit or long-term achievements - entirely solo.

Agrogracy allows you to develop an agricultural operation from scratch into a local powerhouse. Inspired by classic tycoon games from over 25 years ago. Analyze for as long as you want - you decide when the next turn happens.

A realistic weather model forces the player to make both strategic infrastructure decisions and tactical crisis-management choices.

  • Crops only grow in conditions suitable for them. Take on difficult challenges by growing plants mismatched to the local climate.

  • Choose from a wide range of crops that naturally thrive in different climates.

  • Store and sell your harvest quickly for a low but reliable price - or take risks by waiting for a better market opportunity.

  • Don't let your stock spoil! Build cold storage facilities and silos.

Time is the most important resource. There is never enough of it - but fortunately, there are workers.

Workers operate machines, machines require buildings, and those same buildings are needed to store harvested crops.

All of this exists only through proper organization of the enterprise - and that organization has a cost.

  • Keep a close eye on company expenses. Everything has a price, and a lack of liquidity can lead to bankruptcy.

  • An enterprise cannot exist without people. Increase available working time by hiring manual labor.

  • Construct buildings to store crops or house machinery.

  • Manage machine wear, plan repairs, and modernize your fleet.

  • Keep up with increasing enterprise capacity as your operation grows.

A farm - or an enterprise? Early years are often poor and difficult. Over time, transform a small farm into a large-scale agricultural enterprise.

  • Develop systems that suit your playstyle - the progression tree unlocks unique specialization paths. Choose those that offer the best synergy.

  • Invest in field infrastructure to reduce soil degradation or mitigate drought.

  • As you progress, replace simple field and weather information with hard data from sensors.

  • Don't be afraid to take loans from the bank - but be careful to maintain your financial credibility.
