Welcome to the Rim, where neon sunsets meet chaotic survival. Battle Beants is a unique fusion of third-person action, colony simulation, and arcade sports, inspired by the emergent complexity of Conway’s Game of Life.

STEWARD THE COLONY You don’t just build a base; you protect a living ecosystem. You act as the steward for the "Beants" (a hybrid of beats, beans, bees, and ants) whose ultimate goal is to spread light and life through the solar system. Watch as your colony bifurcates and reproduces, automatically assigning themselves to roles like Gatherers, Settlers, and Traders to connect isolated worlds.

COMBAT EVOLVED: SOCCER WARFARE Forget standard gunplay—master the art of Soccer Combat.

• Turn the battlefield into a pitch by triggering "Soccer Mode," where your squad treats speakers as goals.

• Utilize a physics-based combat system where you kick a glowing ball to strike enemies.

• Use your Magnet Tool to pull the ball to you or launch it forward to drill through terrain and foes.

LIGHT THE NIGHT In the darkness of the Void, light is life.

• Defend against waves of shadowy drone enemies that are attracted to every light in the system when night falls.

• Harness the power of music: place speakers to buff your soccer ball and provide speed boosts to Beants within range.

• Spread sound and light to push back the Void and help your colony survive.

TRAVERSAL & EXPLORATION The worlds are rugged, but you have the tools to conquer them.

• Master high-speed movement with Rocket Boots, Wall Running, and Drone Surfing

• Use a Grapple Hook to pull yourself toward walls or yank enemies into combat range.

• Travel through a 3D network of interconnected worlds and portals, managing resources across different environments.
