关于此内容

The Tomaszewo scenery is a fictional map created for the “MaSzyna” Railway Vehicle Simulator. The scenery consists of approximately 180 kilometers of railway routes, made up of 4 fictional railway lines. Detailed descriptions of the individual railway lines can be found on the linked subpages.

The Tomaszewo scenery consists of the following fictional railway lines:

  • Line No. 85 (140 km) Kaletnik – Leosin
    mainline, 140 km

    An electrified mainline railway from Kaletnik station to Leosin station via Tomaszewo, Rypinek, and Orzechowo. It is the longest and main line of the scenery – double-track, almost entirely equipped with three- and four-aspect automatic block signaling, automatic level crossing signaling (SSP), and adapted for speeds of 100–160 km/h.

    The line is divided into a “slow” section from Kaletnik to Kaczyce (V max = 120–140 km/h) and a “fast” section from Kaczyce to Leosin, where a scheduled speed of 160 km/h can be reached. The final 12 kilometers of the line (from Korty junction to Leosin) split into two layouts: a long-distance route for long-distance and freight trains, and a suburban route for passenger services, featuring 4 passenger stops.

    When designing the stations on this fictional railway line, the following real stations were used as references: Tłuszcz, Rudzice junction, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Kłomnice, Widzów Teklinów, Sulejówek Miłosna, Zduńska Wola, Wronki, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Nasielsk, Strzałkowo, and Koluszki.

  • Line No. 89 (25 km) Leosin – Korytowo Centrum
    agglomeration line, 25 km

    An electrified line adapted for agglomeration traffic, running from Leosin station to Korytowo Centrum station via Leosin Polesie, Leosin Topola, and Korytowo. The line is double-track, equipped with three-aspect automatic line block signaling, and adapted for speeds of 60–120 km/h.

    The largest station on Line No. 89 is Leosin Postojowy depot station. It features the necessary infrastructure for passenger coach sets and EMUs, as well as an electric locomotive depot. The penultimate station on the line is Korytowo – a station adapted for handling EMU services only. It features two terminal tracks and a stabling yard for terminating trainsets.

    When designing the stations on this fictional railway line, the following real stations were used as references: Koluszki, Warszawa Grochów, Warszawa Wawer, Warszawa Falenica, Otwock, and Świnoujście-Centrum.

    Additional operational restrictions apply on Line No. 89:

    freight trains may operate only on the Leosin – Leosin Topola section (freight trains serving the loading ramp at the station should be routed to track No. 3); freight trains are not allowed to enter Korytowo;

    at Korytowo station, express trains composed of a locomotive and passenger coaches are permitted to stop only on track No. 2 at the long platform edge (the consist must be run around using track No. 4 without a platform edge);

    only electric multiple unit (EMU) trains are permitted to enter Korytowo-Centrum station.

  • Line No. 245 (6 km) Orzechowo – Podole
    local line, 6 km

    A non-electrified local railway line from Orzechowo station to Podole station, with intermediate stops at Nieszawa and Nowe Podole. The line is single-track and adapted for a maximum speed of 70 km/h. It is maintained in the style of a neglected local railway typical of rural Poland. The most interesting feature of the line is the closed Nowe Podole siding post, with inactive semaphore signals and distant signal boards.

    Only short freight trains (maximum freight train length: 370 m) and passenger trains (maximum passenger train length: 120 m) are permitted to enter Podole station, exclusively under diesel traction.

  • Line No. 270 (8 km) Leosin – Boguszyce
    local line, 8 km

    An electrified local railway line from Leosin station to the small station of Boguszyce, with one passenger stop at Osiny. The line runs along the shore of Lake Boguszyckie, where sailboats can be seen, leading to the spa town of Boguszyce. The line is single-track and adapted for a maximum speed of 80 km/h. At Boguszyce station, semaphore signaling remains in operation. When traveling from Boguszyce toward Leosin, in the Leosin LeC area it is possible to either access Line No. 85 directly via a short connecting track or pass beneath Line No. 85 and enter directly onto track No. 1 at Leosin station.

The track layouts of the stations within the scenery were based on the following real-world stations: Tłuszcz, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Rudzice, Kłomnice, Sulejówek Miłosna, Zduńska Wola, Wronki, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Nasielsk, Strzałkowo, Koluszki, Warszawa Grochów, Warszawa Falenica, Warszawa Wawer, Otwock, and Świnoujście-Centrum. This does not mean these stations are recreated 1:1; only their track layouts were used as references for creating fictional stations.
