Magma Karta is an original strategy card game where you face off against either a computer or a friend, winning by planning around ever changing conditions.

Shifting Rules, Constant Decisions

3 Core Rules:

• Your cards number is higher than your opponents.

• The Even/Odd status of your card matches the declaring card (located on the left near the draw pile).

• Your cards element (Fire or Earth) must be opposite of your enemies health card.

As you play, conditions may change that directly affect what a card does. In a game of Fire vs Earth, Even vs Odd, and High cards vs Low cards - Magma Karta offers a lot of opportunity for strategy and blind faith.

Multiple Ways to Play

Magma Karta features several game modes to switch up how you play.

Quickplay 

•  A classic version of the game that ends after one player loses.

Legacy 

•  A long-form roguelite mode that can continue indefinitely.  

Multiplayer 

• A classic game similar to quickplay, but you can play online against a friend.

Arcade

• Magma Karta features an Arcade that houses multiple minigames inspired from classic retro games.

                                    

Roguelite

In Legacy mode, you can trade your score to purchase powerful upgrades called Magma Cards that will change the way you play during a run. You can hold multiple at once, allowing for flexible and unique builds.

You will also encounter a variety of different bosses every few rounds, each designed to provide an extra challenge to test your builds and strategies. 

Wager It All

If you want to add a little more tension to your games, any gold you earn can also be wagered. If you win a game your gold is doubled. Lose - and it's gone. But if you win big, you'll be able to afford all of the unique cosmetics featured in the shop. 

Endless Replayability

Magma Karta is built to be endlessly replayable. Designed to let you play for as little or as long as you wish. Like your other favorite card games, its a reliable source of fun to come back to when you need to play just one more round.
