What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I’ve been working tirelessly on this game, and it’s finally playable! Since I'm already having a blast playing it, I want to give Early Access for you to try it out too!

I am a Newbie to game development and completely solo deving it. So player feedback is extremely valuable. I'm looking forward to comments, reviews, and suggestions from the community. I have a clear vision of what I want this game to become, but all player feedback will be considered thoroughly.

The core, fully physics-based skater and skating systems are implemented and working. A bunch of more advanced features, like Replay functionality, are in the works or already in place but disabled for polishing. This means there is a queue of cool features ready to roll out in a steady stream of updates!

By joining Early Access, players will help shape the game’s future while experiencing its evolution from the early stages on. So hop on your board and let's go! 🛹”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is in it's pre-alpha stage, the game is being worked on non-stop for as long as it takes, but full release is approximated to be out in November 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Full release will have features like Replay and Spot Editor, and Character and Board Customization. The open map will be bigger with slight randomization and more detail will be added everywhere. Game Modes and Challenges like Hill Bomb and open Arcade Mode will be implemented with Leaderboards and Achievements.
I am committed to serve the Early Access players the full game piece by piece.
Full release will be the polished set-in-stone version of earlier versions with the most compatibility and optimization.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The skateboarding in its early stages already feels so rewarding, and the map has a wide variation of obstacles and areas. The most time-consuming and complex part of the game, the fully physics-based skater, has been implemented. The ragdoll skater reacts to your tricks and attempts in a way that you've never seen before, and it is still set to improve.
I am working on all of this every day so, improvements are imminent.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as more features and content are added throughout development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am doing all of this alone so involving more perspectives is priceless! Community polls, contests, and feedback will be used to tweak physics, map, visuals, and flow of the game. Incoming game modes, skateboarding knowledge, or just clothing suggestions are all considered thoroughly.
I am looking forward to hearing players' thoughts, as this will shape the future of the game. Come hang out at the Community Hub!”

About This Game

Realism comes first in this fully physics-based skateboarding game. The always-active ragdoll reacts to everything organically—no animations—making every moment unique! Of course, the board is completely physics-driven too.

In skateboarding even a simple kickflip is satisfying, that is a core element in Newbie . Rewarding lifelike feel of the board control makes all those (hilarious) bails worth getting up from.
Free roam a small town with tons of realistic obstacles and rails. Master the basics, and that ten-step stair set will look a little more doable.

Roadmap inbound.

Upcoming features:

  • Replay Feature

  • Stats & Achievements

  • Leaderboards

  • Challenges

  • Spot Editor

  • Character Customization

  • Board Editor

  • Game Modes

You can currently change the color of your clothing—this is a placeholder for a full wardrobe system. The board will get the same treatment in the future.

The map is constantly evolving, with new details and areas added as development continues. Share your ideas in the Community Hub!

Physics and game mechanics will get consistent updates, and soon customizable settings for you to experiment with.

Hop on board, wishlist the game, and help shape the game as it evolves! Pre-alpha out soon.
