Why Early Access?

“Developing a hand-drawn game of this detail is, for one person, a matter of time and energy. Early Access is not just a formality. It is an open transmission. My goal is to complete HEAVYDELIC as a full game with 15 levels, released in batches across multiple updates. I am fully committed to continuing development, listening to player feedback, and seeing this project through to completion. If you join now, you support the development and help me dedicate maximum time to this project. Every bug report, every message, and every wishlist adds fuel to the system.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly by February 3, 2030. A long transmission. The system will keep updating until the signal is complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My plan is to gradually expand HEAVYDELIC with additional levels, enemies, bosses, and content with each update. I aim to release the game in batches, growing the world of HEAVYDELIC over time. My current vision includes around 15 levels total, potentially distributed across multiple releases. However, development is an evolving transmission and plans may shift as the project grows. The system will update gradually.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The system is online, but the transmission is just beginning. The current Early Access version contains approximately 5 minutes of gameplay. The player can run, jump, open a crate containing a painting, find a sword, and fight waves of endless enemies. From the main menu, the player can explore and learn more about the world of HEAVYDELIC. Core mechanics are implemented and functional. More content, levels, and systems will be added with each future update.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase slightly with each new batch of levels.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a core part of this transmission. Every captured bug, every submitted report, and every piece of feedback directly shapes the development of HEAVYDELIC. If something feels wrong, broken, or missing, I want to know. You can reach me via the Steam Community Hub, or follow the development online, at exhibitions and cons. This is not just my fulfilled dream. It is an open transmitter and you are its frequency.”

About This Game

SIGNAL DETECTED / INITIALIZING HEAVYDELIC

Somewhere in the hills of central Slovakia, a tailings pond collapsed. Toxic sludge swallowed the village of Horná Ves. The valley mutated. And from the wreckage of socialism, analog circuits, and contaminated pollen, something woke up.

Heavydelic is a hand-drawn 2D Slavic Synthpunk Platformer set in a world where industrial collapse triggered an uninvited evolution. Developed entirely by one artist, Eniac, where every asset is manually hand-drawn, like output from a system that never went digital.

THE WORLD /

One toxic incident split humanity into two frequencies: empty carriers without a signal and overloaded transmitters whose hyperintelligence burned their circuits from within. During windows of hyperintelligence, survivors built something extraordinary. Robots forged from Slavic mythology, cast in chrome, bakelite, and pulsing vacuum circuits. Not just machines. New idols. A synthesis of ancient belief and obsolete technology.

The landscape is no longer a village. It is an experimental zone where nature and technology merged into an unplanned prototype.
