About This Game

Cliché Horror 2000s: The Witch’s Lair is a third-person horror experience that celebrates the nostalgia of early 2000s slasher films and classic games like Resident Evil. Four young filmmakers enter a forgotten mansion to shoot an independent horror movie, only to discover that the horrors inside are not staged.

Returning to the slasher formula of the 2000s

A group of friends decides to film a horror feature in an isolated mansion in the mountains, but the amateur project quickly turns into a nightmare when they discover they are not alone.

The legend of an ancient witch tied to dark rituals and cursed straw dolls proves to be real. As they try to escape, Mei discovers that the mansion and the surrounding village are part of a secret organization that studies supernatural phenomena.

Torn between fleeing and uncovering the truth, Mei must face not only the entity that controls the monsters, but also those who manipulate everything from the shadows.

Blending urban legends and classic mystery, The Witch’s Lair builds an experience where every answer brings new horrors.

Without the camera, only darkness remains

The camera is your only defense against what lurks in the darkness. Shapes move, sounds draw closer, and danger becomes invisible. Without night vision, every step is a risk and every second could be your last.

She will always be watching you

You will not escape her grasp unless she admires your will to survive. Your fear does not interest her, your pain does not move her. She knows all of this on scales you could never comprehend.

You will never be without someone to listen

You will soon realize that this place was never truly abandoned. There are eyes watching, voices guiding events, and people ensuring everything follows the script. The witch is only part of something much greater.

The puzzles await you

Each puzzle was designed to test your attention, logic, and courage. Nothing is there by chance: clues hide within the environment, objects carry dark meanings, and every solution reveals more about the secrets surrounding you.
