Room Service is a first-person psychological horror game with anomaly-hunting and job simulation elements. 

Your job is simple, clean the rooms if they are not haunted. If you see any movement in a room, well, you should leave. Immediately. And please report it. 

Do your job diligently. Here at Silver Pine Hotel we maintain the highest standards of service. If you fail to uphold them, you will be replaced.

Do not forget the paperwork. If you notice unusual activity in a room, it is your duty to report it.

And remember, you are the only one working the night shift.

The developers describe the content like this:

As a part of the gameplay players clean and restore rooms that may contain signs of prior incidents. These may include blood splatters that must be cleaned, occasional corpses covered by sheets and environmental storytelling elements such as crime scene evidence and discarded weapons.

Some environments also contain depictions of substance abuse including cigarette products, ashtrays and empty alcohol bottles. The game contains themes related to violence, death and implied self-harm.
