Polydangerous is a sci-fi tower defense game with the relentless action and combinatorial depth of a bullet heaven roguelite. Build the base that you think will withstand the next wave of enemies as you defend your little mining operation against a hostile planet and a rival corporation.

You are a contractor who died while on duty. The company saved you by transferring your consciousness into their capital ship's mainframe. But now you owe them 1.7 million credits if you ever want to get a real body back, and you'll have to do dangerous contract work to ever have a chance of freedom again.

BUILD, MINE, ADAPT, STRATEGIZE 

14 building types with a 3-tier evolution system. Turrets branch into dual cannons or focused beams. Mortars split into salvo launchers or incendiary strikes. Walls become ramparts or gated chokepoints. Place tesla coils, cryo sprayers, decoys, mining droids, and more — then evolve them to match the threat.

Combat. Defense. Architect. Economy. Blood Pact. Corruption. Synergies. Each tree offers a distinct playstyle. Combine upgrades from different trees to create powerful builds. Focus on direct combat, automated defenses, health sacrifice for power, or melee specialization.

Collectible relics across 4 rarity tiers with 30 synergy tags. Aegis Core adds a shield. Soul Harvest converts kills into health. Chaos Orb applies a random effect each time. Combine multiple nanoprints to create unique builds with complex interactions.

WEAPONS GALORE 

Keep your mining operation protected, fully armed and dangerous. This is a tower defense game but with roguelite bullet heaven "hero" mechanics. Discover 18 ranged weapons including rifles, shotguns, railguns, plasma rifles, and ricochet discs. 5 melee weapons including energy blades, warhammers, and glaives. Heavy weapons have cooldown abilities: charged beam attacks, rocket salvos, area freeze, and orbital strikes.

16 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

16 shells (playable characters) across 5 rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Each shell has a unique playstyle and starting equipment. Lower-rarity shells earn more credits. Higher-rarity shells have stronger abilities.

24-SHIFT CAMPAIGN

A structured campaign with increasing difficulty. Buildings, weapons, and enemies unlock progressively. 27 randomized shift events change conditions each run: environmental hazards, system sabotage, terrain destruction. Star ratings grade performance on each shift.

13 DOCTRINES (METAPROGRESSION)

Spend credits between shifts to unlock Doctrines. Permanent upgrades that carry between runs. Some improve comfort and efficiency. Some offer high-risk, high-reward effects. Disable all Doctrines to earn bonus credits.

MULTIPLE ENEMY FACTIONS

Ferrox Dynamics deploys mercenary squads: riflemen, snipers, grenadiers, heavies, and shielded units. They target your structures. Native creatures target the player directly. Lava creatures and environmental hazards add additional threats. Bosses require strategic adaptation.

DAILY CHALLENGES AND LEADERBOARDS

A new seeded challenge every day with unique modifiers. Global leaderboards for campaign, daily runs, and endless mode. Share and replay seeded configurations.

HELLDANGEROUS MODE (ENDLESS)

After completing the campaign, unlock Helldangerous Mode. Endless mode with infinite scaling difficulty. Enemy strength, speed, and numbers increase with every wave.
