Kabounce Patch 1.34

Hey everyone!

The latest update tackles some improves and bugs we've observed.

  • Default selected ability will now be the ability you had selected last match
  • Added popup after pressing button to reset settings to default values to avoid accidentally resetting your precious settings
  • Now showing customisation from trophies and feats of strength in garage by default

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed ingame scoreboard not showing score of current combo
  • Fixed possibility of getting stuck in the goal when it closes
  • Fixed quick chat overlapping the match statistics overlay
  • Fixed possibility of dash animation getting stuck for certain pinballs
  • Fixed the Passage Parkour lootball not showing as collected in the menu UI
  • Fixed Skid Parkour lootball being placed in the wall
  • Fixed settings being reset to default values when trying to bind an action to the reset button
  • Fixed ghost of your latest run being shown in challenges instead of your fastest run
  • Fixed very rare case where None was being unlocked when opening a loot ball
  • Fixed rare case of unlocked customisation getting locked again
  • Fixed customisation tab becoming yellow when swapping between tabs too quickly
  • Fixed the text "active loadout" being displayed for loadouts that are not active
  • Fixed inconsistent score rounding issues when comparing match statistics overlay and end game screen
  • Fixed unlock customisation popup not opening when playing split screen
  • Fixed the charges of slam not immediately updating to zero on respawn

Kabounce March Update & Fruit Pack!

Hi Everyone!

We've been busy working on some things and can finally share it!

Free With Amazon Prime!
For the March update we're including 3 new Challenges and the Fruit pack! You'll be good to go for spring with the fruity additions of accessories and pinballs. We've made these cosmetics a bit more colourful than usual!

Additionally, we've partnered with Amazon to deliver a free copy of Kabounce for ALL Amazon Prime subscribers. Claim it on the Twitch Prime section of your account via the desktop app. Hopefully this'll bring some fresh meat in for you!

What's more, you get both the Animal Pack and the new Fruit Pack DLC FREE if you're subscribed to Amazon. Cross play is available, so you'll be matched up versus PlayStation and Steam players, and versus Twitch players on Steam and PlayStation of course!

Challenge Levels



Seems like Tim is top of the Dev leaderboard.. It'll be a short lived victory with this patch live.

Patch Notes
- Fruit Pack customisations!
- 3 new challenge levels: Passage, Skid and Fracture

- Decreased the small internal cooldown in-between consecutive slams from 0.3s to .18s to improve responsiveness
- When playing multiplayer challenges, always keep moving the 'moving elements' to keep it fair between players and prevent exploit with static hazards
- Added more available server regions to select in the settings and improved clarity of them being sub-settings

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed potential infinite loading screen when coming back to menu from an unfinished boss race
- Fixed occasional incorrect high number for total blue stars
- Still upload to leaderboard if improved the relevant relay highscore but didn't improve personal best
- Fixed double combo from capturable boosters in Mizu Temple
- Fixed occasional incorrect percentage in the post-game results
- Fixed the result displaying "defeat" instead of "draw " when playing solo (or splitscreen in the same team)
- Fixed incorrect behaviour on boss races when playing multiplayer with type "individual"
- Fixed potential duplicate Bots when a player left during pre-game
- Fixed capturable boosters being Shockable
- Fixed total capture percentage never adding up to 100% in Nero Reef
- Fixed not being able to click "Back" and "Revert" with mouse in the in-game settings menu
- Fixed the visuals of the rebound key not immediately updating when doing so in challenges
- Fixed the last previewed loadout being selected instead of the actually selected one
- Fixed loadout preview in Garage sometimes being empty before saving it a first time
- Fixed the custom hat/glass rotations not being applied to the special pinballs in menu and pre-game
- Fixed not being able to change rotation of hats/glasses after switching tabs, until selecting another item
- Fixed the desire to dash if the dash button is still pressed when receiving a boost
- Fixed white square icon for scoring a revenge elimination
- Feat of strengths now also display unlock date

Additional Update
We nerfed some Dev Star times to take a better average of our team, we noticed the rough % of players able to reach Dev Stars with enough attempts was similar to our internal team, so we adjusted some times to see how that would affect stats. Similarly, we improved some times of loot balls in challenge levels since we felt they were a bit unfair. This doesn't affect anything if you've already obtained the loot ball.
