Houston, Texas, 1925. A heroine from 2025 suddenly wakes up in the body of the daughter of a recently murdered crime boss.

Instead of a second chance at life, she becomes “compensation” — handed over to a local gang known as the Devil’s Six.

To survive by someone else’s rules, she can’t be a thing or a trophy. She has to become a player: bargain, maneuver, gather information, and decide who can be trusted with not only her freedom, but her vulnerability too.
