Acrolyte is a 2D action-adventure platformer which brings the player through vast, mysterious alien landscapes. Awaken from your dying slumber in an endless pursuit of revenge against ancient forces beyond your comprehension.

Demo

In this vertical slice demo, you awaken at a healing pool in Eyra-31B's Azure Valley, a vast mountain range with an expansive network of caves and abandoned alien ruins. Explore the remnants of a lost alien civilization, collect exotic weapons and mobility upgrades, and uncover the secrets of planet Eyra. 

Story

Under the iron fist of Humanity, the Tsumeta are subjugated and driven from their homeworld. Aboard an interstellar space station, you and your crew, like thousands of others, are sent into deep space. For decades, you have drifted toward a planet, forced to expand the reach and influence of Mankind.

Upon arrival in orbit of Eyra-31B, your crew begins to survey and explore the decaying remnants of an uncontacted civilization. After the extraction of an anomalous artifact causes a system failure on your ship, a Human military vessel makes contact with your crew to investigate. Concluding this investigation, your crew is executed. In the ensuing chaos, the station's orbit is destabilized, causing it to crash into the planet.

In the darkness, a white star descends upon us, taking toll of the dead.

360 Degree Free-Aim: Use the mouse or a controller to aim and fire in any direction, for fast paced precise combat

Advanced Movement Techniques: Slide, launch and fly through caverns of Eyra-31B with a series of intricate, chainable mobility upgrades. Some optional techniques are innate to the player, and can only be executed by skilled players.

Detailed Ingame Logbook: Uncover the mysteries of Eyra-31B by cataloging your discoveries, equipment, and encounters with local wildlife in the logbook.
