About This Game

Gutterspace is a hand-drawn, poetry-powered couch co-op game about sharing one body and surviving it.

Each player has their own controller, timing, and perfectly terrible reasonable ideas.

But there is only one skeleton to move!

Work together and you move like magic.
Fight about it and you explode into bones.

It is messy.
It is funny.
And It sometimes it's your fault.
But when it finally clicks, it feels incredible.

The world of Gutterspace is crawling with Dandies and Wisps.

Wisps used to be Dandies.
Tiny seed creatures just minding their business, till emotions from another universe corrupted them

Collect a Wisp and you free the Dandy trapped inside.

Do it enough and a poem starts forming.

Each rescued Dandy becomes a word and the poem grows as you play.
Those poems do not just sit there, they turn into allies.

Summon them.
Become them.
Break the rules for a minute.

When you possess an ally one player leaves the shared body.
Free movement opens up to both players and new abilities come available.
