Why Early Access?

“This game is in Early Access because it is still actively being developed. At the moment, not all planned content is implemented yet — including all items, maps, and some core features. I want to involve the community during development, gather feedback, and improve the game based on real player experiences.

Early Access allows me to test new mechanics, balance gameplay, fix bugs, and gradually expand the content. Once all planned systems, items, maps, and features are completed, the game will be released as a full version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 4 to 8 months. However, this timeline may change depending on player feedback and the complexity of the features added during the development process. My priority is to ensure the game reaches its full potential before a final release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more content, expanded systems, and a more polished overall experience. This includes additional items, new maps, more gameplay features, and improvements to existing mechanics.

During Early Access, the focus is on testing core systems, gathering player feedback, and refining gameplay. Based on this feedback, I plan to adjust balance, improve performance, fix bugs, and enhance the overall quality of the game.

The goal is for the full version to feel more complete, stable, and content-rich compared to the Early Access version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes most of the core gameplay mechanics, and the game is fully playable. The main systems are in place, but some features are still being expanded and refined.

Players may encounter bugs, balance issues, or incomplete content, as this version is still under active development. The foundation of the game is set, and future updates will focus on adding more content, improving existing systems, fixing issues, and polishing the overall experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price is likely to change as development progresses. I plan to gradually increase the price as new content, features, and improvements are added.

Early Access is meant to reward early supporters who join the game during development, while the full version is expected to reflect the larger scope and more complete experience.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to actively listen to community feedback and use it to shape the future of the game. Player suggestions, bug reports, and balance feedback will play an important role in improving existing systems and deciding which features to prioritize.

I will be sharing updates, collecting feedback through forums, social media, and Steam discussions, and adjusting the game based on real player experiences. The goal is to build the game together with the community and make it the best version it can be.”

About This Game

The arena takes everything. The forge gives it back, sharper.

FORJ is a co-op action roguelite that fuses white-knuckle arena runs with a living crafting hub you build, staff and automate. Descend into cursed arenas, survive long enough to extract, then haul your spoils back home, where every weapon can be reforged into something monstrous, and your hand-built golems never stop working.

Loot drops

Every enemy you drop can leave behind a weapon, a set piece, a legendary with a rule-bending passive, or a stat stone waiting to be socketed. Over 100 pieces of gear and 36 weapons across 9 archetypes, spread across 7 rarities up to Timeless.

Pick it up

Every drop rolls with a visible quality tier, from a perfect T1 to a shameful T9. Grab it, check the tooltip, decide on the spot: equip it, sell it, or feed it to the forge.

Reforge it

Push gear from +0 to +9, imbue weapons with elemental effects, enchant them with dozens of affixes, socket stat stones, and when you're feeling brave, let the Hourglass of Ages twist an item's fate before freezing it forever.

Face a boss

Multi-phase bosses rule floors 5 and 10 of every biome, each phase adding new attacks, telegraphs and fury. Detonate elemental status combos like Overload and Superconduct to turn the tide.

Extract

Survive the onslaught, bring down the boss, then sprint for the exit door as the horde scales out of control behind you. Extraction floors don't let you leave quietly.

Build golems

Assemble golems piece by piece, head, arms, body, legs, and put them to work: mining, woodcutting, crafting, forging, selling. They keep producing while you're deep in the arena.

Build your hub

Place mines, crafting stations and workshops, decorate your grounds, and wear your own walking paths into the dirt. A base that grows the way you play.

Play together

Online co-op through Steam. Invite your friends, share the run and the loot. No one dies alone, fight your way to a downed ally and pull them back to their feet.

Sell it all

Stock your display tables and watch customers walk in, browse and pay real gold. Fill contracts, dodge the black market dealer's prices, and keep the forge economy running.
