What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have opted for the Early Access model to fully realize the game's vision and to optimize mechanics based on community feedback. Throughout this process, new content, bug fixes, and performance improvements will be added regularly. We look forward to building the most stable and rich experience together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“In line with our current planning, we aim to have Redast ready for full release in approximately 6 months. During this period, we intend to create a more dynamic and refined final product by directly integrating suggestions from our players into the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Redast will be the culmination of the experience gained and community feedback received during the Early Access period. At this stage of development, we aim to offer players a much richer and more living world by significantly increasing the current number of assets.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In its current state, Redast offers players an atmospheric and solid foundation waiting to be explored. The core mechanics of the game are fully functional, and as of the Early Access launch, three different biomes are ready for exploration.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“In accordance with Redast's development roadmap, the new mechanics, optimized graphics, and expanded content packages to be included during the Early Access process will significantly increase the project's production value. Consequently, there will be an upward price adjustment upon the launch of the v1.0 full version. The current Early Access pricing is a gesture of appreciation for our community members who contribute to the project's development at an early stage.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is our primary guide in Redast's development process. Every suggestion, criticism, and bug report from our players will directly influence the game's evolution and our priority list.

Direct Communication: We will regularly analyze ideas shared via Steam Discussions and our Discord channel.

Development Diaries: We will transparently share every update and planned feature for community review.

Polls and Decision Making: At key milestones, we will organize community votes for new content or mechanical changes, ensuring our players have a real say in the direction of the game.

In short, my goal is to not just develop Redast alone, but to grow it together with the community.”

About This Game

REDAST

ENTRY IS A PLAN. EXTRACTION IS A MIRACLE.

Redast is a multiplayer tactical horror experience that combines tactical FPS dynamics, supernatural investigation, dynamic hunting mechanics, and high-risk extraction into a single, seamless operational loop.

Here, missions are about more than just combat.
Enter the area, secure the site, investigate the unknown, identify the threat, and adapt your plan on the fly when things spiral out of control.

With its structure that cannot be confined to a single genre, Redast establishes its own operational identity at the intersection of tactical FPS, supernatural investigation, survival, and extraction experiences.

THE OPERATIONAL LOOP

  • Infiltration & Deployment: Plan your operation aboard your aircraft carrier, your main base of operations. Once ashore, use your SUV to navigate harsh terrain and reach the target area. Every operation begins before you even set foot on the ground.

  • Area Security: Before confronting the supernatural threat, face the armed groups operating in the area. Eliminate enemies who move in coordination, take positions, and retreat when wounded, creating a secure environment for your investigation.

  • Investigation & Identification: Use physical equipment such as the SLS, EDI, EMF, and Geiger counter to analyze anomalies, track signs, and determine what you are dealing with. Each piece of equipment reveals a different trace of the unknown.

  • The Shift — From Hunter to Hunted: The moment the entity is identified, the operation enters a new phase. The entity becomes active and begins hunting your team. Areas you considered safe moments ago can suddenly become deadly traps.

  • Ritual & Survival: Collect ritual components scattered across the map. Under the entity's pressure, decipher the combination and correct sequence around the ritual stone to complete the ritual. But initiating the ritual does not mean the operation is over.

  • High-Risk Extraction: Once the ritual is complete, only one objective remains: get out. Escape in your SUV, regroup with your team, and use every resource at your disposal to make it out of the area alive.

    TACTICAL SIMULATION

    • Health Is Not a Bar: There is no traditional health bar or simple medkit system. Factors such as ammunition caliber, armor penetration, hit location, and distance determine damage and bleeding severity. Treat wounds directly using more than 15 pieces of equipment in your medical kit.

    • Physical Inventory & Weapon Ballistics: There is no on-screen ammunition counter; you must physically check your magazine. Every modification made to your weapon affects its ergonomics and handling characteristics. Your medical bag, detector bag, and tactical belts are managed separately.

    • Real Operational Decisions: There is no single correct answer to every encounter. Engage, reposition, retreat, or use your equipment and surroundings to approach the situation differently. The course of the operation changes according to the decisions you make.

    • Air Base & Fleet Management: The aircraft aboard your carrier are not decorative. Analyze the area's air defense systems (AA) before the operation and select your fleet accordingly. Choosing the wrong aircraft can result in your support being shot down and your rescue plan collapsing.

    • The Alternative — Abandon the Operation: When control is lost, you can abandon the mission and request an emergency airstrike and helicopter extraction. However, if you failed to account for the area's air defenses beforehand, your extraction helicopter may never reach the target.

    • Variable Operational Environments: Different environments directly affect visibility, ballistics, mobility, and operational conditions. Every region requires you to approach the same operational plan in a different way.

THE OPERATION NEVER STAYS THE SAME

In Redast, armed combat, investigation, supernatural threats, and extraction are not separate game modes.

One gives rise to the next.

Clearing the area leads you to the investigation.
The investigation leads you to the entity.
The entity forces you to become the hunted.
The ritual drives you toward one final escape.

And in the end, success is not simply completing the mission. It is making it back with your team.

      Enter. Investigate. Identify. Survive. Extract.
