About This Game

Board of the Kings is a tactical roguelike role-playing game based in the original thousand-year classic, Chess. You play as the Ice King in the Kingdom of Caturess, vying over for control of the throne against your other seven sinister siblings. Each expedition into the lands will be unique, offering different Pieces, different events, different augments and powers, and different outcomes.

• Build your Army: Conscript a variety of unique characters among the main Chess piece types. Level them up and enhance their powers and abilities beyond the confines of Chess!

• Conquer your Enemies: Rally your troops against the unique foes and rivals in unpredictable battles and environments. However, beware! Death is permanent in the Kingdom of Caturess. Losing a piece means it'll be gone forever!

• Prepare for Anything!: Strengthen your kingdom through the use of powerful augments and expect the unexpected when traversing the Kingdom of Caturess! Random encounters and quirky individuals are plentiful within the realm and you'll need everything you can offer to conquer the Kingdom and take the throne!
