What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our studio is limited in resources and getting access to a broader audience pool to garner feedback will help us make more informed decisions about the direction and focus of future development. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect MuzzleFlash to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This timeframe may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to further refine combat feel, visual and audio feedback, game balance, and overall quality-of-life features. We also plan to expand the current selection of maps and gameplay content. Additional features may be explored based on community feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“MuzzleFlash is built around fast-paced combat, distinct playable agents, and replayable missions. Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop the game alongside a broader player community and gather feedback on combat balance, character abilities, level design, difficulty, and overall game feel. We want that feedback to help guide where we focus our development as we continue refining and expanding the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game is designed and intended to be free to play. If we were to see unanticipated numbers of players we may charge for DLC or build online support and repackage the game as a paid experience. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want Early Access to be a collaborative process with the Muzzleflash community. We’ll be looking closely at feedback from Steam Discussions, reviews, playtests, and our social channels to understand which heroes, maps, modes, and playstyles players enjoy most. That feedback will help us decide what to expand, rebalance, or rethink as development continues.
A major focus for us is growing the game with more heroes, maps, and ways to play. We also want the community to help us identify balance issues, frustrating mechanics, and unexpected strategies that are difficult to discover through internal testing alone.
Muzzleflash currently focuses on local multiplayer, but one of our longer-term goals is to explore full online multiplayer. Whether and how we pursue that will depend on community interest, technical feasibility, and the resources available to us during Early Access. We’ll keep players informed about our progress and major development decisions along the way.”

About This Game

The organization has secrets.

█████ has built an industrial empire powered by mysterious technology, automated factories, and research that was never meant to leave the lab.

Now its facilities are being infiltrated.

Agents from across the world have been sent to uncover █████'s secrets, sabotage its operations, and put an end to whatever they're building.

Unfortunately for █████, they brought some very strange people along for the job.

CHOOSE YOUR AGENT

Every agent brings a different weapon, ability, and way of causing chaos.

ROUGE

Former leader of the Zarasin guerrilla forces, Rouge survived the devastation of Operation Pyroclast and has spent the years since hunting the organization responsible.

FINNY

Once the head of █████'s biotech research division, Finny discovered that her work had been turned into something far more dangerous than she intended and her rebellion has made her an enemy of █████.

EEPY

A highly dangerous lifeform capable of producing extraordinary amounts of unstable energy, Eepy's power comes in violent bursts. Unfortunately, generating that much energy is exhausting.

MR CROWN

Codename Mr Crown was selected at an early age for the prestigious Kentucky Fry training program. His handsome appearance, charm, and endless wit make him the perfect example of what an █████ agent should aspire to be.

INFILTRATE █████ FACILITIES

█████ has spent years perfecting its industrial operation. Now you get to tear it apart. Explore laboratories, factories, warehouses, and mysterious underground facilities while uncovering the secrets hidden inside.
