Why Early Access?

“This game has a lot of room for extra depth that I'm excited to add, but I can't do it in isolation. Gauging interest in different aspects of the game will help me determine which ways it should grow, and give it time to evolve.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“With the current rate of development, there will probably be a total of 1-2 years of development before I feel it's ready for 1.0”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“- Items: I want to improve the way item types are presented, as well as expand the number of options available for base types.
- Modifiers: I will be looking to continually make the random modifiers on items more intuitive and interesting.
- Enemies: I'd like to expand the pool of enemies and areas, and ideally add some bosses (which may tie in with the prestige system)
- Prestige: I have plans for a prestige system that will provide new and interesting decisions with each reset.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has all of its core features as outlined in the 'About This Game' section. With the 30+ item types and 20+ stat modifiers already in the game, as well as endless enemy and gold scaling, it can be enjoyed for more than a few hours of active gameplay.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I may set a slightly higher price towards the end of early access if the features and content have grown significantly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would love to hear any feedback and ideas that players have, so that I can take this game in a direction that interests people. There is a Feedback button in-game which takes you to a form for submitting bug reports, requests, and ideas. Players can also use that form to join the Discord server for further discussion.”
