Modern Durak

Modern Durak is a fully 3D recreation of the classic Russian card game Durak, combining traditional gameplay with modern presentation and online competition.

Whether you're new to Durak or looking to master advanced strategies, Modern Durak offers multiple ways to play:

Offline Mode

Tutorial

Learn the game step by step in an interactive 1v1 tutorial. Mikel guides you through the rules and core strategies with clear voice explanations, making it easy for beginners to get started.

Quick Game

Play against bots in a variety of game modes:

• 1v1v1 — Battle against two opponents in a three-player free-for-all.

• 1v1v1v1 — Take on three opponents in an intense four-player battle.

• 2v2 — Queue solo and team up with another player to compete against a rival team.

Puzzle

Test your decision-making with carefully designed Durak puzzles. Both players have full information three cards each and the goal is to find the exact sequence of moves to win. Your opponent plays perfectly, so every mistake will cost you the game.

Online Mode

Compete against other players in classic Durak matches. Win games to increase your rating and climb the competitive ladder:

Reworked Main Menu

Navigate the game with a completely reworked main menu. Easily access game modes, choose your avatar, adjust your settings, and jump into a match.

Open Beta Notice
The online mode is in open beta until 14 September 2026. You may experience bugs, connection issues, or incomplete features as development continues.

Future Plans

Offline mode will remain free and without ads forever.

Starting September 15, 2026, the Modern Durak Online Services Access DLC will be required to use the game's online features.
